CHAPTER 39

Eunwoo closed the book hard. He was dumbfounded when he knew the truth about Lee Hongbin. Just like what he expected from the start. Yejin sighed in frustration and covered her face with her hands.

"Cy-cyborgs? Wah.." He stared at the notebook and threw the couch pillow harshly. "Fuck you Lee Hongbin" He sat at the floor and cried. His own cousin, became a victim to the technomania. "What did he do?" He grabbed his hair in frustration. "He even covered up that bastard's mistake but this is what he repays him?"

"Oppa.." Yejin mumbled when she remembered about Taekwoon. Heeyoung's words lingered in her minds.

She accidentally slapped the table and widened her eyes. Yejin startled. "Ha-Han- Han Yejin??" she quickly pulled out the ring at put at the table. "Your- necklace has the same shape as this ring. Taekwoon oppa dreamed of you every single night."

Yejin held the necklace tighter and held the ring in her other hand. She let her tears fell. It is Taekwoon's and he's the one who bought the couple rings. He never forgets her.

Heeyoung stared at her "If you know the real situation, it's a miracle that he never forgets you. If he wants to know who you are so bad, it means that you are really important in his life."

"I should try harder to find you." Yejin cried and held the hem of her shirt, tried to control herself. "I never gives up and so do you.." She looked at the ring at her thumb, before Eunwoo's phone rang.

"Hello? Yes. Every one? Do they agree to follow? Okay, go book a hotel nearby for them. Make them comfortable. Just book it under my name. Alright send me their location right away. Make it fast." He ended the call and nodded at Yejin. "They found their families. I'm gonna ask Heeyoung to give me some evidences at the house-"

"Wait. Cha Eunwoo." She stopped him. "The reason why Heeyoung said not to take any action towards Hongbin. Cyborgs are illegal, catching him means that we are exposing what he did, and those are- people that we love.." Eunwoo froze. "Don't you know what the government do with the cyborgs? They treat them as robots. Useless robots. They're not going to give mercy or let the cyborgs free."

"But we can't let Hongbin-"

"If you're ready to face another lose." She held her tears and sighed. "I can't Cha Eunwoo. I can't lose him again" Eunwoo landed at the wall and sighed. That bastard knows what he's doing. He got a message of the families' hotel so he forwarded it to Heeyoung.

Message sent. He sighed and sent another message to her.

-You do know we can't do anything with him right? Because it will harm VIXX. Then how do we catch him then?-

Heeyoung read the message and sighed. He knew it. They all know that catching Hongbin is not about him alone, but its about the other 8 people that turned into cyborgs. And it's including herself.

"We all have to die in order to expose Hongbin. We basically dead but- we are still pretty much living like other people.." She stroked her hair and started to think. Maybe this is it. "We were destined to be sacrificed." She changed her position from lying down to sitting at the bed.

She ran towards Hakyeon's room and knocked the door. It's currently 3 in the morning and Hongbin was usually a heavy sleeper. Hakyeon opened the door and she signed him to not say anything and woke the others up. They went to the backyard and stopped at the small gate that Eunwoo used when he sneaked into the house.
