CHAPTER 26

"What are you going to do after she wakes up?" Hyuk asked Hongbin after they went into the lab to see her condition. It had been almost 20 hours since the process started and it needed a few more hours to complete it. Hongbin was still staring and watching the process on the computers before he turned to face them.

"What do you mean? She's going to be fine just like how you guys did a long time ago."

Ken shook his head "He means by how do you want to explain about us, living here and how do you want to tell her that she's a cyborg? She basically has no idea about that right?" Hongbin stopped typing on the keyboard and stared at Heeyoung who was lying hopelessly.

"I won't tell her. I would never." He gripped the edge of the table and let a deep sigh. "I can just make story up for you guys. I have chosen the memories that she needs to keep so there's no problem about it."

"Until when?" Taekwoon stared at Hongbin with an empty stare. Both him and Hakyeon had made up their minds to find out about their past life. Even though it seems impossible, they knew they need their life back, they need to know about people who were related to them and most importantly, showed them that they are actually still alive. If Heeyoung can be a cyborg and live like a normal human without knowing that she's a cyborg herself, then they can also live with their beloved ones and act like a normal human as well.

"Why is it important to know until when do I have to keep this?" Hongbin suddenly stood up and faced Taekwoon. They glared at each other intensely. "I made her now. I decide everything for her, and..same goes to all of you. You should behave like usual and never make her feel doubtful about you guys or about herself." He left the lab and went to his room. As expected his obsession took over his mind.

"I don't know if I should feel regret giving him my soul just to be a cyborg." Hakyeon walked near Heeyoung and stared at her. He felt sad all of sudden. "How is it feel that you can't even know yourself..it must be hard.. I don't know until when we should act like nothing happen after she regains her conscious back." He softly caressed her hands and shut his eyes.

After almost half of the day, they still in the lab and waited for her to wake up. Hongbin stared at the computer that showed the process has already completed. He nervously cleared his throat and watched her, everyone did the same. Suddenly her fingers moved so he opened the half cylinder lid above her, and they heard she was breathing.

"H..Heeyoung-ah.." Hongbin held her hands and stared at her eyes. She was moving her head and frowned like a person who was having a nightmare. She was also breathing heavily and grabbed his hands tightly when suddenly..

She opened her eyes, widely.

She was staring at the ceiling but didn't move or do anything except for blinking her eyes. The others looked at her curiously and Hongbin was fixing her bangs and whispered at her. "Are you..okay?" He helped her to sit but she's still froze, just like a robot.

She looked down when suddenly she started to think something. All this time when she was sleeping she didn't even realize how long so she felt so lost. "I..can see.." She widened her eyes when she can see her hand and when she turned to her right, Hongbin was looking at her worryingly. She was so happy but there's no words coming out except a single tear.

"Sunbae.." She immediately hugged him and cried in his embrace. He rubbed her back and proudly smiled. She released the hug and stared at his face. "I really..can see.." She then turned and get shocked to see VIXX and an old woman and man believed to be his parents were there.

"They are my parents.." Dawon, his mother walked nearer and hugged Heeyoung before she replied. Heeyoung was so happy to be able to see his parent's face but still wondered why VIXX were there, when obviously Hongbin never said anything about them even before she's involved in the accident.

She walked all over the house and basically still impressed that she can see everything back. She went into every room in the house while holding hands with Hongbin. He was happy when she's happy and asked for nothing more. "So this is how your house looks like..its so big!" She closed the door and spread her arms while smiling.

"Not done yet?" He asked and she nodded. When she was about to turn back he pulled her closer and kissed her passionately. She was so shocked but she gladly replied back. "As long as you're happy, I will do everything for you" He released the kiss and stared into her eyes. She shut her eyes to enjoy the moment and hugged him.

"You already did a lot..Thank You sunbae.." They walked towards the balcony at the second floor and saw VIXX were relaxing at the garden below them. Hyuk noticed them and waved before the others looked up as well. Heeyoung waved him back but her eyes met with Hakyeon who was silently staring at her. She remembered when the incident when she found out that Hongbin was hiding her battery and there's a person whom she thought was 'H' was helping her and that's when she realized that his voice sounds similar to Hakyeon.

"Heeyoung-ah?" Hongbin touched her shoulder and she flinched. "Do you hear me?" She faked a laugh and shook her head.

"Sorry? I was thinking of something earlier.." She looked away from Hakyeon and turned to face Hongbin. "What did you say earlier?"

"Nothing, I was thinking to cook something for you and asked what dishes would you like- but what were you thinking anyway?"

"Ouh.. just.. uhm your mom said there's a maid called H in this house. Did she mean by one of them? Because his voice sounded similar to them when I talked to him a few weeks ago.. But why didn't you tell me that they're living here? You said that you didn't know where were they before this?" She frowned and attacking him with questions.

He faked a smile "I didn't mean to keep anything. Well.. they are recently here actually.. after a few weeks you stayed, they come back and stayed in my house.. for a while.. yeah." She nodded and replied him with a smile. "Go have a rest first, I will cook something for you with my mom." He walked away before she gave any reply.

She went to her room and looked around. Exactly the same like her previous room and she suddenly had a thought about her parents that she burst into tears. "If only we can make.. you alive again just like how I'm able to see again.." She stared at the bed before remembered something.

Her phone.

She quickly find her phone and the battery that she hid. She checked the door and make sure that its locked. Not sure why, but even though she's just able to see, she felt so weird about everything that happened around her, even before she's able to see. She turned on her phone and waited for a while.

You have a message from Handsome Tea Meat.

She frowned when he just sent a message a few minutes ago. It looks like he knew what had happened to her. She's sure that he never knew about her since Hongbin told her that Eunwoo was so busy with his works. And of course she's not going to tell him that she got into an accident, lost her parents and became blind.

-Jang Heeyoung, I'm coming to Korea. I don't know what has happened to you now or whether you would ever see this but, I'm going to make sure by myself since Hongbin hyung never told me anything about you. Just to tell you this. If you're reading this I can assure that you're still fine, but if you didn't.. I would believe that what I've known at Russia was true after all..-

She frowned "I thought sunbae did tell him that at least I'm fine?" She stared at the text and started to think again "What did he know when he was there? Is there something that he found out by himself?" She let out a sigh and put the phone aside before she lied down "My head felt so hurt thinking about this.. there's a lot of thing that I feel like.." she stared at the blank ceiling "..sunbae kept from me..even he lied about this phone.." She held the phone and shut her eyes.

"Jang Heeyoung, your dinner is ready." Dawon called her from the outside and she quickly hid her phone back.

She walked towards the door and held the knob. "Is being able to see might not-be..a good decision after all?"
