CHAPTER 7

"Harabeoji, Eunwoo has come to meet you." Heeyoung forced a smile in front of her grandpa's tombstone while Eunwoo bowed in front of it.

"I felt guilty for not visiting him.." Heeyoung looked at him and shook her head.

"He said its fine and he also didn't want to see you in a bad state. I mean of course he only wanted to meet me, I'm his pretty granddaughter." She stick her tongue playfully and he chuckled.

"I brought a present for you, its a national flower of Sweden, I tried so hard to make it as fresh as it can to show it to you." She put the flower beside his picture and smiled. "Its called Linnaea Borealis or twin flower. It can represent you and me." She smiled and after a while they walked towards Eunwoo's car.

"How about me?" Eunwoo stopped and asked her which then she raised her eyebrows. "My present from Sweden?"

"Yah, I just came back here and thats the first think you asked? First bring me to go eat jajangmyeon. You don't know how craving I am when I was in Sweden" They went to the famous jajangmyeon restaurant where they coincidentally met with Hyunmi, Heeyoung's aunt. The feel when she faced her aunt was not the same after she overheard the conversation between her father and her aunt.

"Eo? Heeyoung-ah!" Hyunmi hugged her while she was still confused. She never knew that her aunt was friendly because even when Heeyoung was crying hard during her grandpa's death, she never hugged and calmed Heeyoung down.

"Eo..imo..what are you doing here?" Eunwoo went to order and booked a place while they were still at the outside. Hyunmi pretended to be friendly just because of one thing. The share that Heeyoung got from her father's wealth.

"I came here to eat of course haha." Hyunmi tapped Heeyoung's shoulder lightly before she asked. "Did you hear anything about your..grandpa's inheritance? I mean if your father has told you an-"

"Imo." Heeyoung stopped her aunt's words which made her Hyunmi widened her eyes, shook with her niece's action. "I don't care about his wealth and its up to him to do whatever he wished. And I think I don't deserve any of his money or properties so you don't have to keep arguing about that, imo." She sighed and bowed "I'm sorry my friend is waiting." Heeyoung ran into the restaurant without turning back.

"This girl really got into my nerves. Did she just..raised her voice at me?!" Hyunmi's husband calmed her down and brought her to the car. He slowly advised his wife.

"You need to calm down. If you want her share, its not just about pretending to be nice. But you have to take her heart as well. The way you get angry will end up getting nothing."

Heeyoung sat beside Eunwoo as he took a table faced the scenery so theres no facing each other chairs. She drank a glass of water in one shot while Eunwo blinked his eyes a few times.

"Yah are you running in a  marathon or what?" Eunwoo looked at her and she did the same. He felt like she wanted to say something but she just ended up sighing.

"Nothing, I'm thirsty thats all. Why does people love to chase over money and be so greedy over it ugh so annoying." She mumbled words before taking another glass of water. Fortunately Eunwoo didn't heard it as he was too focused in wondering why she's being weird all of sudden.

"Are you on period?" Heeyoung smacked his head and he groaned in pain "Yah! Wae ttae-ryeo?? (why did you hit me??)" While they were bickering, the meals arrived and she stirred the jajangmyeon for Eunwoo before she did for herself.

"Keun-yang mekgeo i-jashik-ah (just eat you jerk)"

Heeyoung and Eunwoo finished their class and went to see the lecturer to hand in their assignments. After that they walked out the gate to take a subway before he turned to her.

"What time do we have to take the subway? Do you think we have time to go to the nearest store?" He looked at his watch and calculating the time if they manage to take a subway on time since they need to buy a new stationary.

Heeyoung shook her head "We don't need to take the subway." She showed her phone to him. "Sunbae texted me that he's nearby so he wants to send us home. We can go and buy the things as well I've already replied to him." She looked at the phone and smiled.

"Hongbin-ie hyung? Okay then." Heeyoung nodded but then she raised her eyebrows.

"Wait..what did you said?"

"What?" Eunwoo looked at her strangely.

"You said 'hyunggggg' earlierrr" Heeyoung teased her childhood friend when Eunwoo pretended to look at other place. "mwoyaa (what is itttt) did something happened when I was in Sweden??" She grabbed his arm and turned him to face her.

"Nothing happeneddd" Eunwoo defended himself and tried to free himself from her but she kept clinging on him. "Yah, whats wrong with me calling him hyung? He's older tho" He stopped moving and their face were so close to each other.

Heeyoung squinted her eyes and released him "Its not wrong but you called him, what, giraffe? And any other names before this huh? Did you now realize that he's not the only giraffe but you also the same?" She laughed happily before he suddenly asked her.

"neo, yae jo-ah? (do you like him?)" She stared at him and smiled.

"waeee neodo joah? (whyy, do you like him too?)" She joked before taking a deep breath. "I don't know..I feel delighted to see him, everyday I was hoping to meet him at the cafe, even he's not looking or noticing me, I feel happy just knowing that he's there." She noticed that Eunwoo still staring at her. "Is it a feeling of liking someone?"

"I... You know what. I didn't mind with whoever you want to be. I care for you more like a friend, I love you more like a brother to a sister. Every day I'm wishing for you to find your happiness and I'm asking myself if I'm enough to make you happy, if I've already make you the happiest girl. To be honest, I'm kinda afraid to let you go with other guys because I have been with you for your whole life. I'm afraid if they hurt you, a person that I cherished the most. I'm afraid if I left you, you end up coming back to me with tears and hug me because you're in pain. I might sound like I'm over protecting you but, aside from your parents, I want to make you happy as well.."

Eunwoo suddenly confessed about what he had been keeping all this time. All this time he was caring for her like a sister and always protecting her like a brother. Whenever she's sad over something, he's one of the people who would be by her side. Whenever she's happy, he would be one of the people she would hug and screamed in joy. Both of them love this kind of relationship and wish for no more.

"yah..why are you suddenly so good in making a speech.." Heeyoung suddenly teared up and so did him. Hongbin who was already arrived, parked his car a bit far from them and watched the scene. He now realized how much they mean for each other, and understood why Eunwoo was over protecting if its about Heeyoung.

"mianhae..ireohke kabjagi.. (sorry..for this sudden..)" Eunwoo looked down and Heeyoung held his hands before clasping it together with her's.

"You're asking if you made me happy? I'm more than happy Cha Eunwoo. I'm grateful to live the way I am now. To have my family, to have you, to have other people that love me. You cherished me more than I do to myself. You've been there in whatever situation I am, how can it be more happy than that? I just don't have the chance to thank you for all of that. I love our relationship to be like this and when I think I have to like someone, I want to make sure you are the first person to approve that and vice versa. We have and root for each other whats more beautiful than that?"

"Thank you" Both of them said at the same time and bursted into laughter. "Why are we being so emotional gosh, there, hyung has arrived" They laughed and Eunwoo pointed at Hongbin's car before they waved to each other. Eunwoo let her walked first and stared at her.

"I don't know Heeyoung-ah, is this also the feeling of liking someone?"
