Whizzing through the skies, Komori stared ahead with squinted eyes, wondering if his lids would be frozen like this for a couple days. Hopefully not.

The shapes of Undella's beach houses came into view, and he slowly descended. Rosa had been quiet through the whole ride, her head down and face buried in the Swoobat's mane – he assumed she fell asleep, but who could out in this weather?

Once his feet touched the sandy earth, he lightly shook himself. 'Rosa? We're here.' He informed, craning his head to watch her stir. She only groaned in protest, shivering as she remembered how chilly it was. The thing that forced her to fully wake, was the ring of her Xtransceiver. Shooting up and dismounting Komori, Rosa accepted the call, happy to see Hugh's face. She was bombarded with question after question, the concern evident in his voice. He wanted to know how she was fairing and where she had gone off to, seeing as her surroundings weren't... icy, anymore.

Looking around with still tired eyes, she took in the sight of the town, glad that it hadn't been struck by Team Plasma. "Undella Town." She answered. "Cheren told me to take the Marine Tube to get to Humilau City, since it seems like the safest way." She returned her gaze back on her best friend to find his eyes brighter than normal.

"Undella Town?!" The brunette raised a brow, watching him stop to stare up at something, his expression never wavering – then he began to smirk. Out of the blue, he stopped the call, leaving Rosa confused more than ever.

She exchanged a look with Komori. "What's his pro–" "BOO!" Screaming, Rosa covered her head with her arms, her first instinct being to protect her face. Komori wasn't amused, fur ruffled, glaring at Hugh, who was laughing uncomfortably. Rosa looked over at him, taking a moment to process the situation, before turning red. "Hey!"

"S- Sorry! I c- couldn't help it!" The blunet was leaning over, hands on his knees. He tried to cease his laughter, as he could probably faint if prolonged – his head was already swimming. Sensing the glares on him, he eventually calmed down, wiping a stray tear from his eye. "Woo! That was a- amazing."

His friend huffed. "You had me worried when you hung up like that!"

Hugh snickered, winking. "Ah, but it's nice to know that you worry for me." When she returned Komori and began to approach him, he was expecting to be slapped or something, so he braced himself. The boy was more than surprised to feel Rosa lean against him, forehead pressed to his collarbone and arms wrapped around his midsection. "Rosa?"

"I'm so tired..." She sighed, making him tense up. Despite the growing heat in his face, countering the air around him, he returned her hug rather nervously. "I really need this, ya know?" Aside from nervousness, Hugh was angry at Team Plasma for being the cause of this Rosa. She had all this weight on her shoulders – more than what they or anyone else knew.

"Yeah... Man. I wish we could have a normal journey." It felt like just yesterday they were racing up the stairs of Aspertia City, innocent smiles adorning their features.

"THERE YOU ARE!" A new voice interrupted the moment and made the duo jolt in surprise, eyes darting around. Hugh and Rosa couldn't find the owner until the blunet looked up to the sky to see a boy on a Braviary basically hurtling toward them.

"What the fu–"

Rosa followed his gaze and screamed, thinking they were about to die. Fortunately, the stranger came to a screeching halt right in front of them and hopped off to reveal...
