Ch.30 | Nani The Hell, Colress?

I just found it months ago, saved it to my phone (wondering if I would do anything with it), then forgot about it until now. It's super cute XD -but let's not forget that Nate still assumes Colress is a friend and not just a weird guy stranger Rosa bumped into sometimes.

Also, terribly sorry about such a late upload. I've had this one in the works and just never got around to reviewing it. Honestly, I feel like I could've done better with this chapter...

"Careful." Hugh stood with his arms crossed as Rosa attempted to climb the large, icy terrain surrounding the Plasma Frigate. Amusement sparkled in his crimson eyes.

The brunette cursed herself for not bringing gloves. Her hands were uncomfortably wet and cold, and she was shivering more than ever now. "A- After everything, I- I think I completely hate the cold..."

Taking pity, Hugh called out his Unfezant. "You know, flying would be easier. Don't you have a Swoobat?"

"Komori really doesn't like the cold." She explained, petting the bird creature with them and earning a coo. "Buuut you can carry me while holding on to Unfezant~!" Rosa was surprised with how bold her statement was but didn't show it, only fluttering her lashes.

Although a bit of pink tinted his cheeks, the blunet shrugged and drew her close. 'You've held her before, quit being a wuss!' He reminded himself. Rosa didn't hold back her surprise this time, wrapping her arms around Hugh's neck and making sure to hold on tight.

The boy raised his free hand and Unfezant knew to latch on. He slowly lifted the humans off the ground, flying over the ice and above the ship. "Look." Rosa caught a few grunts walking down the gangplank, likely more back-up for their pals. "And it looks like that one area we couldn't enter before is open now."

Hugh gave a nod and told his pokémon to land there. Rosa wasn't heavy or anything but his arm was already starting to give out, as well as the lack of feeling in the one his Unfezant had a hold of. It was relief when his feet touched ground. "Are you ok?" Rosa's giggle made him roll his eyes.

"Lay off the sandwiches." She gasped and smacked his arm after releasing him, cheeks ablaze.

"Shut up!" She entered the door behind them, not waiting for him to return his pokémon. The only thing in the room was a teleporter. She decided to risk it and stepped in. A feeling akin to soaring above the clouds enveloped her entire body until she found herself in another room, where a bunch of pipes and other teleporters were. "Don't tell me..." Hugh caught up, looking around curiously.

"A puzzle?"

Rosa nodded. "I don't see why, exactly. Do they have to go through this over and over again just to get around down here?"

"I bet it's specifically for intruders."

The duo made their way around the puzzle room. After beating "the crap out of" a grunt, they learned what was needed. There was a set of lasers, like before, behind the main teleporter they came from. All Rosa and Hugh needed to do is find all four buttons to stop the lasers by turning the pipes in the room (so they can get to certain areas) and using the other teleporters to get to each button. Of course, there were annoying grunts to fight.
