Tineye took me to Zerochan/Pixiv but usually nothing on there is credited to the right artist... but I did an edit on the image above to give the grunt red hair and green eyes, to look like sweet baby boy Levin!. : . : .
Komori took Rosa back to Humilau City, followed by Nate and Cheren on their own pokémon of flight. The girl wanted to have her team checked on before going to the giant chasm.
"Whatcha' gonna do with Weavile?" Nate brought up, accepting his poké balls back from Nurse Joy. His cousin stared at the single ball in her hand with a thoughtful expression.
"I kinda want him to come with me but... I bet he wants to be released into the wild." As if on cue, the ice/dark-type exited the device to look around the building, likely having never been in a Pokémon Center before. Rosa leaned over with a friendly smile. "I'm onboard with whatever you decide." She told him, receiving a delighted look that already gave away his choice – a bit of a surprising one.
Cheren angled his head to the side, exchanging a smile with Nate. "Impressive. You have such a way with pokémon, even if you can't communicate with them as well as N could."
"Oh, that's right. He could speak to them and hear their voices perfectly!" Rosa looked up in thought, trying to imagine what he was like, going off of how others mentioned him. "Man, I really wanna meet him!" She noticed how the ravenhead's lip twitched.
"He was a... weird guy. A fast talker, and in Hilda's own words, a 'good-looker', too." This made him snort, earning a laugh. "Aside from that, I admit he was quite intelligent."
Rosa giggled, scratching Weavile's cheek and making him purr. "Ya know... since you're part of my team, you deserve a new calling." She went quiet to think for a moment. "...I feel that Itachi has a good ring to it."
"Vile~!" She received a nod.
The girl began to rummage through her belongings, locating Manami and Shisa's poké balls before holding them up. "I'm thinking it would be better if I sent you both over to my mom." She watched the water-type tilt her head while Shisa scrunched up his nose. This meant that he would be stuck with the little nuisance for who knows how long under one roof. "I don't feel good about leaving you two in my bag or even cooped up in the PC. Besides, my mom needs some company and I can't imagine anyone else watching over her." She giggled, watching Manami and Shisa nod in understanding. With that, she contacted Lucinda before the Center's transporter was set up. Cheren explained how it worked, to her fascination, then the pair was sent away.
But now, Rosa held up Komori's poké ball. "And what about you?" She blinked in wonder. Although, one tired and lazy look from the bat pokémon answered her question. He couldn't care less about being stuffed into her bag, as long as he could sleep all he wanted (it was still daytime and he was nocturnal after all). "Enjoy." His trainer smiled, amused, before putting the device away.
Nate puffed out his cheeks, bouncing in place. "Are you done yet??" He earned an eye roll.
"Yeah, yeah." Itachi was then tucked inside his respective poké ball before the three trainers headed off to the giant chasm.
Nate shivered, flinching when a drop of ice-cold water landed on his shoulder. "This place is as chilly as I remember!"
Up ahead, they heard light chatter, and as they neared the voices, they recognized Levin and Hugh. Aside from the fact that the redhead was a tad nervous in his body language, both guys were fine in each other's presence. "Wowie... I didn't know you two were friends." She smirked, catching her friend huff and turn his head away while Levin flashed a heartwarming smile.
