Rosa was greeted by a long set of stairs as soon as she entered the Gear Station. She nearly fell over when Yomo seemed to jump up to grab ahold of her bag. "Woah now!"

'I missed a step.' The Flaaffy tittered, still holding on even when they reached the bottom. 'Hey, this is kinda fun!'

"Enjoy the ride." The brunette rolled her eyes because of the added weight at her side before looking around the station. The inside was built circular, so one would have to be really dumb to get lost. "Now," she paused to read a sign that had a dark green border, "we have to check this whole place, as irritating as that is." She groaned, heading inside the dark green area's platform. When Eevee wasn't in there, the duo checked the other platforms. Each one had different colors; the borders even matched the single stripe decorating the train (these were likely to distinguish them better). Rosa stopped in front of the brown-bordered sign. It was different than the others due to not being a battle subway. "Anville Town?" They suddenly heard a thump from inside, followed by an annoyed groan.

"Oh, come on..." Entering, they found a lady lifting a small trashcan back into its original position. She didn't seem pleased to have to pick up after someone. The train conductor nearby snickered at her, but then spun around when something ran past him, causing him to gasp in surprise.

"You can't go in there!"

Rosa and Yomo turned their attention to him. 'Eevee!' The electric-type spotted the messy, wild pokémon before her trainer did. Eevee glanced their way, quickly making the decision to jump inside the train. 'She went in there!'

"E- Excuse me!" Rosa jogged over to the conductor, smiling uncertainly. "May we go inside the train?" She was going to explain her reason until the man hurriedly pushed her toward it.

"You came just in time, the train is set to depart shortly!"

Rosa yelped as she was lightly shoved inside. The door closed behind her and she had to hold on to a seat once the subway started to move. "But I didn't wanna go anywhere!" She complained, eyes scanning for any sign of Eevee. "Damn..."

Yomo had yet to let go of her trainer's bag, even when the girl was pushed inside the large vehicle. 'We technically found you.' She called out to the normal-type. 'So, we win!'

At those words, they heard a faint cry from under the middle seat, away from the doors. Rosa reluctantly kneeled down on the dirty floors to find Eevee shaking in fear, sandwich beside her. The brunette felt Yomo move to sit on her back and cast her an annoyed look. "I think you've been outside your poké ball long enough..." Yomo simply shrugged before offering Eevee a smile.

'She's scared and confused. I don't think Eevee has ever been inside of a train.' That was obvious with just a glance.

"Come on out." Rosa held out her hands. Eevee scurried out, without much thought, and buried her face into the trainer's jacket. "Don't worry." She ran a hand through her collar, finding tangles and specks of what she guessed could be mud. "We'll be off in a moment."
