I was torn between writing out the Elite Four battles or not doing them, but in the end I decided to skip them. Honestly, I just feel like it's boring when I write the battles unless I feel like it's absolutely necessary. I know we're all just here for Sequelshipping anyway, lol!

We're coming to a close with this book, so here we gooo~!

After healing her party and restocking her supplies, Rosa now stood at the entrance to the League. The whole place was looming over her that she began to feel anxious.

Was she ready to deal with the possibility that she could become the next champion?

Honestly, she gave it a lot of thought while she was going through Victory Road. In the end, the brunette decided that she didn't care whether she won or not. Her journey had been the best thing ever – becoming champion would only be the cherry on top, and Rosa never ate the cherries on her sundaes.

Of course, after getting this far, Rosa refused to allow herself to slack off. Any thoughts about giving up and letting herself lose were tossed away from her mind.

"Let's do this!" She approached the man guarding the entrance. He explained to her that she could enter any of the open rooms, which were in no particular order, while warning her that she couldn't turn back once she passed through this gate. Rosa affirmed that she was ready and then he let her proceed.

In this large room, there were four doorways with steps leading up to them. A tall statue stood in the center of the room. Upon noticing a plaque beneath it, Rosa walked over to take a look. "Four great warriors form this Pokémon League," she began. "To the southwest is one who does not fear the Ghost type. To the southeast is one who channels the power of the Fighting type. To the northwest is one who has mastered the Dark type. To the northeast is one who knows the mind of the Psychic type. If you can defeat these warriors with your courage and wisdom, you shall be led to the summit, where the strongest champion awaits..."

Rosa glanced at all the rooms as she thought about which one to go through first. 'I might as well start on the left side.' With that decision, the girl approached the ghost room and wasn't surprised with what she was met with.

The room was pitch black until she stepped further inside; blue will o' wisps manifested around her to light up the area, showing off an endless sight of bookshelves as well as the long stairway leading up to a platform. Rosa began to feel anxious, her legs refusing to move, until a cold presence behind the brunette spooked her enough to send her sprinting up the stairs. "I don't wanna know, I don't wanna know," she chanted to herself.

The platform at the top greeted her, where she marveled at the stacks of books being played with by a few wisps. Ahead of her was a desk and in front of it stood a purple-haired woman, distracted by a book in her hand. "Um, hi there!" She immediately covered her mouth once the wisps emitted a scream and dropped everything they had been playing with. The lady was startled and she whipped around. Rosa caught her wide eyes behind round glasses just as the room turned pitch black again with the absence of the wisps. "I am so sorry!"

"Nothing to worry about!" Came a gentle voice before the big lamp in the back turned on and moved closer to the desk on its own. "Greetings! I am the Elite Four's ghost-type user, Shauntal, and I shall be your opponent."

"And I'm Rosa. Nice to meet you," she replied with a polite smile.

How well did everyone here know Hilda? Should she mention that the ex-champion came home?
