When we got to their house, I saw two guys in the front yard smoking a cigarette. The older one had brownish black hair and hard dark eyes. He looked dangerous, but in a way, he was fascinating. He was a classic greaser, with jeans, boots, and a black leather jacket.

The other one was completely different. He had big brown eyes, like a lost puppy. He looked innocent like Ponyboy but he seemed scared, like he was afraid of his own shadow. There was a scar on his right check. In a way, he was adorable. I wanted to run up and give him a big hug and tell him whatever he was going through will get better.

"Who's this?" The older one asked, staring me down. He was definitely intimidating to say the least.

"Her name is Jessica Jones." Ponyboy answered stepping out of the car. "She's new in town. Some socs were bothering her."

"Ah, I see. The names Dallas Winston. Call me Dally." We shook hands, his nearly breaking mine from his grasp. "That's Johnny Cade."

"Nice to meet you Johnny." I said. He nodded and muttered something incoherent. I figure he must be shy.

"By the way Jess, how old are you?" Ponyboy asked me curiously.

"I'm almost 19, what about you guys?"

Sodapop butted in, "Pony's 14, Dally's 19, Johnny's 16, and I'm 17."

"Oh cool." Sadly they were all younger than me except for Dally. Just my luck, the one that scares me is my age.

Just then a red pickup truck pulls into the driveway. A guy about 20 gets out, and I could tell he was the oldest Curtis brother. He had lighter brown hair, and ice blue eyes. He was pretty good looking, but seemed strict. I could tell by his smile though, that he had a soft side.

"Hey guys, who is this?" He asks in a thick southern accent.

"I'm Jessica Jones. Just got to Tulsa, for the performing arts college." I tell him proudly.

"Well nice to meet you." He says as we shake hands. He had a very strong grip, like Dally. "You seem pretty nice, you're welcome to stop by any time."

"Okay, thanks." I say happy that I made some friends so quickly.

"No problem." He flashes me a bright grin and heads inside the house.

"Hey Jess," Sodapop began. "Do you wanna hang with us tonight? It's Friday, and we usually have a good time. We might see a movie or hit the Dingo."

"That sounds like fun. But first, I think I'll go to my apartment and get situated a bit." I explain, since I've only been in town for an hour.

"Okay, come back around 6, that's when Steve and Two Bit will get here."

"Sounds like a plan. See you guys later!" I say while getting into my car.

"Bye" The guys said.

I get home and begin unpacking some of my things. After that, I decide to wear jean capris and a purple top with a white belt. I curled my blond wavy hair and did fairly well? with my make up, matching the eyeshadow with my top. Hoping we wouldn't do a lot of walking, I decided on wedges. I looked good, I'd have to admit, and I'm gonna be hanging with guys all night, so I need to look my best.
