DJ stood staring at Steph's belly "Dad are you sure she's pregnant?Mom says it's a lie"
"Dante?! " Jordan sighed exasperated
"What!" he snapped back at his father
"Knock it off "
Steph looked above DJ's head into Jordan's eyes as tears filled her eyes.
"Apologize NOW !" Jordan demanded as he attempted to calm his temper.
"I'm sorry .My mom just thinks you're using my dad I was just being honest"
Jordan eyed his son and realized Evelyn was filling his head with bullshit again.
"DJ listen when you have a question ask me or ask your father . " Steph told him honestly.
Dante nodded "I'm really sorry "
Steph wrapped her arms around him "It's fine kiddo"
Jordan laughed "She let's you get away with stuff because you look like me and she can't resist our charms "
Dante nodded "And dimples Dad .Don't forget the dimples "
Steph looked between the two of them and shook her head
"So not true "
Jordan chuckled shaking his head "Whatever you say babe "
Once things calmed down they sat down with the boys to eat the food that had arrived while they were talking.
They spent the rest of the night fielding questions about what happens next.After explaining that they would marry once the baby was here DJ looked at them
"Why are you waiting ?" DJ demanded
Jordan looked at Steph grinning sheepishly
"He has a point "
Steph nodded in agreement but unsure of what to say
"So let's get to planning babe "
Eric walked over "Can I help?"
"Of course you can " Steph promised him as he hugged her neck so tight she thought he was going to cut off her airway
They put the kids to bed not long after the movie they decided on finished after their talk. Jordan led her to their bedroom.
"That went better than I expected " Steph admitted
"Relax babe it's all good . They like you "
