Jordan motioned for Bubba who immediately walked over
"You okay woman ?"
Steph shook her head no as she felt a trickle of water run down her leg
Jordan looked down wide eyed as a pop was heard and he felt wetness running down his leg
"Get the car now "Jordan spoke in a calming tone he definitely did not feel.
Within minutes they were on the road to the hospital and Steph felt her emotions overtake her
"The nursery isn't done yet , my bag isn't packed "
"Relax baby let's just go have us a baby "Jordan said soothingly
The ride to the hospital passed in a blur as they were whisked through the emergency room door up to the maternity ward.
The doctor entered as a contraction hit Steph
Jordan rubbed her back and spoke soothing to her
"Mrs Knight you're fully dilated I can't give you anything for pain at this point but you can push on the next contraction "
"C'mon baby you can do this "
Steph glared at him
"Push now Mrs Knight "
"C'mon baby push "
Steph pushed for the next half hour feeling as if her arms were going to fall off
Jordan fed her ice chips ,rubbed her back until he thought his own hands would fall off when finally with a loud bellow the baby slipped from within her.
Tears streamed down both their faces as Steph watched the doctor clean the baby
"It's a boy !" the doctor informed them laying the baby on Steph's stomach
Steph didn't have a chance to look down at their son when another contraction over took her
"Doc are after contractions supposed to be that bad ?"Jordan asked worriedly
The doctor immediately turned to check Steph when she began to push again
"Don't push hang on " he informed her
"Fuck off doc I need to push "
"DO NOT PUSH "
Just as the words escaped his lips another shrill cry was heard throughout the room
"It's a Girl!" the doctor shrieked
"How'd they miss one ?"Jordan asked puzzled
"She must have been hiding behind her brother "Steph panted
"Indeed she must have been " the doctor agreed
"Do these cuties have names ?" the nurse asked from the corner where the warming beds waited.
"Jordyn with a Y Lynn and Jordan junior "Steph answered before Jordan could reply
His eyes meeting hers
Steph dared him to correct her
"We'll just call him JJ "Jordan shrugged as he hugged his wife gently
"You did amazing babe I am so proud of you "
"I need a nap " Steph grumbled
Soon family filtered in to see them when Jordan slipped out into the hallway to talk to his brother
"Is the house all ready ?"
Jon nodded "You have a few days but yes it's ready "
"Good when it's time our little family can start fresh in our new home "
"Speaking of Mom's bringing the boys "
Jordan nodded as the door opened and someone waved him back in
"Just have mom bring them here when she gets here "
Two days later
Steph followed an anxious Jordan through the front door of their new home
The twins asleep in their car seats Jordan wrapped his arms around his wife
"Welcome home babygirl today is the beginning of our forever "
