Fred's POV
Cassie looked up at me, she looked shocked and terrified at the letter she had just received.
"It's from my mum" she said. Suddenly her expression changed from shocked, to angry.
"It was Malfoy. Of course it was Malfoy! I should've known that git would... I'll break more then just his nose this time!" She growled angrily as she stormed to the door.
I grabbed her wrist. "How about you tell me what Malfoy did before you go breaking anything?" I suggested.
Cassie glanced up at me, seemed to calm down slightly and said, "he told my mum that I was entered into the tournament."
"She could have seen it in the daily Prophet" I said, knowing this wasn't very likely.
"My mum doesn't read the Prophet much" she said shaking her head. "I'll kill him. I swear."
"You can't kill him, that's illegal" I told her with a grin.
She glared at me "That's illegal! What about blackmailing a member of the bloody ministry?" She shouted, as she started hitting me with the now folded up letter she was holding.
"Ouch Cas, cut it out" I yelped, covering my face with my arms.
"What on earth were you thinking? What would your mother say about this?" Cassie said, putting her hands on her hips and giving me a look so reminiscent of my mum, I was at a loss for words.
"Uh..." I muttered.
"I don't want to have to visit you and George in Azkaban Freddie" she said, the angry look she had on her face was replaced with a frown.
Cassie not smiling was a sight I definitely didn't like. I looked at her for a second before saying "you won't have too."
"I better not."
"You won't."
"Good."
We walked down the stairs of the owlery together, Cassie explaining what the letter had said.
"Apparently, Draco told my mum I entered. That I even put my own name in that Goblet and everything. And she's just 'proud' of me because I somehow managed to use such dark magic I could confund the goblet. No 'be safe' or anything" she said bitterly.
Cassie continued to complain about Draco, it was hard to believe that they had been very close when I had first met her. Now, it was hard to restrain her whenever he was around.
We walked into the common room to see George waiting for us.
"Did I miss something important?" He asked as soon as we walked in.
"Draco told my mother about me entering the tournament" Cassie grumbled.
"Cassie has turned into to our mum" I said to George.
George looked back and forth from the two of us, clearly wondering which one of us to question first. Eventually he decided on Cassie, "What do you mean 'Draco told your mum'" he asked.
"He must've written to her, and told her about it to get back at me, for breaking his nose and that day in potions" she said.
"I'm sorry Cas" George said, ruffling her hair.
"It's whatever I guess" Cassie said as she plopped down on the couch. George and I sat down on either side of her, and George turned to me.
"How has Cassie turned into mum?"
"You should have seen the look she gave me. She looked exactly like mum does when she's yelling at us, or dad" I told him.
George looked from me too Cassie, then back to me. "You aren't going to start stealing our candies to are you?" He questioned.
