Cassiopeia's POV
Ginny was staring at me with big eyes. I had just told her about Hermione's plan for Harry to teach us Defense Against the Dark Arts. We were all going to meet on the next Hogsmeade visit.
"That. Is absolutely. Brilliant." Ginny stated.
"I know. Spread the word to anyone you think would be interested, and is trustworthy of course" I told her.
She nodded. It had been way to long since I'd been able to spend time with Ginny. I hadn't realized how much I'd missed her. I'd just been so busy with school, detention, and spending time with Fred. Lucky for me, Ginny was a very understanding person.
We were in the library studying. I had fallen so behind on homework, it was overwhelming. The back of my hand still burned from the deep cuts that were engraved into it. Dipping my quill in ink, I started to write an essay for Astronomy.
Suddenly Ginny's quill stopped scratching and I looked up. She was staring at me very intently.
"Yes Gin?" I asked her.
"I have a question. I want you to be completely honest with me" she said.
"Alright..."
"What's going on between Harry Potter and that Cho Chang girl?"
I had a feeling that's where this had been going. Ginny was still looking at me expectantly. This was a weird situation. I was happy for Harry, but not so happy that the girl he liked wasn't Ginny.
"Well, they're friends. Just friends. But... well Harry does like her... and I think she might like him..." I said nervously.
"Hm" was all she said in response.
The only reason I had told her was because I thought her being with Michael might have softened the blow. I knew she liked Michael, but I also knew that there would also be some part of her that wanted to be with Harry. Hermione and I suggested she act more like herself around him.
"I'm sorry Gin" I said.
"It doesn't matter, I'm with Michael now. So, what about you and my brother? How are you two?" She asked, waggling her eyebrows.
"We're great" I said, a smile coming to my face despite me trying to fight it off.
"Aw, look at you a love sick puppy" Ginny teased.
"I am not a love sick puppy"
"Whatever" Ginny said with a smirk.
Zonko's was busier then usual. There were Hogwarts students everywhere I turned. I had a feeling this has something to do with the pink demon who now had control over Hogwarts. Fred, George, and I didn't seem to be the only ones who wanted to give her absolute hell.
We walked all around the store, grabbing anything that might be useful in getting rid of Umbridge. George grabbed a strange, metal instrument. I had no idea what it was, but apparently he thought it would be useful.
I glanced up at the clock. It was almost time to meet everyone in the Hogs Head. Poking Fred, I glanced up at the clock. He followed my gaze and nodded. The three of us had decided it would be to dangerous to talk about our plans in a place so crowded.
After we paid for our things at Zonko's, we all headed to the Hogs Head. It was a grubby looking place. The floor was grimy, dirt practically covering it. The glasses were nearly as dirty as the floor. In the corner, sat a group of Hogwarts students.
Fred ordered twenty six butter beers, then told everyone to cough up. I searched my robes for some money but Fred stopped me.
"Not you, love" he said.
"Oh, are you sure? I can pay" I told him.
"I've got this one."
"Fine, but I'm paying next time."
The meeting started after all the butter beer had been handed out. Hermione began by introducing why we were. We needed a good teacher, and that would definitely be Harry. He's had more experience in five years, then all of us combined.
Unfortunately it didn't take the meeting long to take a bad turn. A Hufflepuff I didn't recognize started to make snide comments. He seemed to believe that both Harry and I were crazy, though he didn't say so out loud. As the meeting went on, he repeatedly badgered my brother. It wasn't until later that he decided to say something about me.
"Are you trying to weasel out of showing us any of this stuff? And besides, how do we know we can trust everyone here?" Said Zacharias Smith, his gaze landing on me.
I chose to ignore him, but Ron, Fred and George didn't.
"Here's an idea, why don't you shut your mouth?" Ron said.
"And what's 'how do we know we can trust everyone' mean?" Fred and George growled.
"Well we've all turned up to learn from him and now he's telling us he can't really do any of it. And she's the daughter of a death eater."
"She's the most trustworthy person I know. And that's not what he said" Fred snarled.
"Would you like us to clean out your ears for you?" Questioned George.
"Or any part of your body, really, we're not fussy where we stick this," said Fred.
"You know, you should be glad I'm here. You're right I am the daughter of a death eater. I probably know more about what we're up against then anybody else here" I said coolly.
"Yes, well, moving on... are we all agreed that we want to take lessons from Harry?" Hermione said hastily.
We all agreed. There was a paper passed around, I signed my name right after Fred. Several people looked rather hesitant about signing. I rolled my eyes at them, what did signing a paper really change? It wouldn't be to hard for Umbridge to figure out who had been in the group without the paper anyways.
I'd decided to split the day between the twins and Lee, and Harry, Ron and Hermione. Since I'd spent all day with the twins before the meeting, I would stay with the other three after it.
Checking to make sure Harry wasn't looking, I kissed Fred goodbye. Pulling apart only because of George's gagging noises. Not that he was one to talk, at least we told him about us. He still hadn't mentioned the blonde Hufflepuff girl. I rolled my eyes at George, to which he simply smirked.
After quickly giving Fred another kiss, I hugged George goodbye. They had said they had important matters to attend to. Most likely the joke shop. The twins left the pub and I walked back over to my friends.
The four of us decided to walk around the village for a while. Before we left however, Hermione let it slip about Ginny and Michael. Ignoring his fury, we left with him badgering Hermione. As we walked into a quill shop, the subject of Ginny liking Harry was brought up.
Harry however, was probably to busy thinking about Cho to notice. The most he did was ask if this was why she talked around him now.
"Yeah, that's why she talks now" I told him.
I didn't want to let on that I was disappointed he didn't care more. Don't get me wrong, he and Cho would be cute, but he and Ginny would be way cuter. Maybe that was just my opinion though.
My thoughts drifted off to Fred and George as we left the shop. It seemed Fred and I would have to corner George and ask him about the Hufflepuff girl. I knew Fred was slightly hurt that his brother didn't tell him, and so was I. I'm his best friend, and he didn't think to tell either of us?
