Cassiopeia's POV
Grimmauld place was in complete and utter chaos. Mr. Weasley had come home from work four days ago and told us Harry had used underage magic. That same day I had gotten a letter from Harry, saying he had been attacked by dementors and he wanted to know when he was getting away from the Dursley's. I had been stopped from replying to his letter, and Hedwig wouldn't stop nipping me. Order members had been popping in and out ever since we got the news.
That was all four days ago now, and tonight some of the Order members had left to go remove him from the Dursley's. I sat on the dimly lit staircase of Grimmauld place, anxiously waiting for them to get back. I tapped my foot, they had been gone at least an hour now. The wait had been complete living hell for me.
There was a soft meow from behind me, and my small grey kitten jumped into my lap. I had named her Claire. I couldn't help but smile slightly at my birthday present.
Finally I heard the door open and there were voices in the hallway. I jumped up quickly, sending Claire tumbling out of my lap. She hissed at me but I ignored her as I ran down the stairs quickly.
The hall filled with light just as I ran into the hallway. Mad-Eye, Tonks, Remus, and Harry were all standing there.
"Harry!" I shouted as I ran to him and tackled him into a tight hug. It didn't take long for him to hug me back once he regained his balance. I finally released Harry after a few seconds of crushing him.
"Oh Harry I'm so sorry I didn't reply to your letter, I tried but well they caught me and then they kept a close eye on me to make sure I didn't.." I rambled.
"You've got a fiery sister there Harry. Remus here spent nearly twenty minutes arguing with her about not coming to get you tonight" Tonks added.
I hugged Tonks, and then Remus. There were footsteps, and Mrs. Weasley arrived in the hallway.
"Oh Harry, it's lovely to see you. You're looking a bit peaky; you need feeding up, but you'll have to wait a bit for dinner I'm afraid" she said. Mrs. Weasley then turned to the Order members. "He's just arrived, the meeting's started."
Everyone went to move towards the door to the kitchen. Harry went to follow him but I grabbed my brothers wrist to stop him.
"Don't bother. We aren't allowed in the meetings" I said bitterly.
"I'm afraid she's right. Ron and Hermione are upstairs, you can wait there until the meetings over and then we'll have dinner. And keep your voice down in the hall" Mrs. Weasley whispered urgently.
"Why?"
"I don't want to wake something up."
"What d'you.."
"I'll explain later, I've got to Hurry, I'm supposed to be in the meeting. Cassie will you show him where's he's sleeping?"
"Yes I will."
Mrs. Weasley bustled back into the kitchen where they were having the meeting.
"This way Harry." I said quietly as I led Harry back towards the staircase. Claire was still sitting on the stairs, and meowed happily upon seeing me. I picked her up and continued to walk with Harry.
"Who's cat is that?" He asked me.
"Shh, we have to be quiet. She's mine. Fred and George got her for me for our birthday."
We walked down the dark hallways of Grimmauld place, past shrunken heads and the heads of the house-elves that always made me shiver.
"Why are we staying in a place that looks like it belonged to dark wizards, and what did Mrs. Weasley mean 'wake something up'?" Harry asked me.
