Cassiopeia's POV
I woke up earlier than most everyone on the day we were to go back to Hogwarts. My dreams had been filled with flashes of green light, Voldemort asking Bellatrix if she had grown to care for me, and Bellatrix laughing maniacally and saying "never my lord." Then faded into corridors with locked doors I'd never seen. Both Hermione and Ginny were still sound asleep. I quietly slipped into my clothes and put everything that was left into my trunk. I was definitely excited to go back to Hogwarts. But I was almost as nervous as I was excited.
The day I had gone to Diagon Alley with Mrs. Weasley, everyone had stared as I walked past. Some called me delusional, and others wanted to know if I really was "the lost twin." I had told them yes, which only caused more whispering. After my trunk was packed I decided to go down to the kitchen so I didn't risk waking Hermione and Ginny.
I heard quiet voices inside the kitchen, whispering urgently.
"That girl needs a home Remus!" The voice of Tonks said.
"She's perfectly happy here!" Remus whispered back.
"Oh, no she isn't Remus and you know it! You're the closest thing that she has to a father!" Mrs. Weasley's voice said.
"But she has you and Arthur! You said it yourself that she's as good as your daughter" Remus whispered back.
"She is as good as my daughter. And I do hope that one day her and Fred will end up married. But she was raised as an only child, it would be difficult for her to adjust to having so many people around her" Mrs. Weasley whispered.
My heart fluttered at the idea of me and Fred, but I quickly snapped out of it.
"She was also raised rich and I'm poor" Remus pointed out.
"Cassie doesn't care about how much money you have! She needs a parent especially a kind one after what happened with Rodolphus! She needs you Remus!" Tonks argued with him.
"But I'm a werewolf... what would people think of her" Remus said sadly.
"I don't think she she cares that you're a werewolf" I said as I pushed the door open.
Remus opened his mouth to say something but at that moment the twins burst in.
"Morning Love" Fred said as he tossed his arm around my shoulder.
"Morning" I grumbled. Those two always had a knack for interrupting important conversations. I sighed, I had really hoped I would be able to go live with Remus. As much as I loved being at the burrow, I couldn't stay there forever. Mrs. Weasley was right, it would be hard adjusting to so many people and I didn't want to bother them to much.
It was time to leave for the train and the house was in uproar. We were running late, Fred and George had knocked Ginny down the stairs and Mrs. Weasley and Mrs. Black were both screaming at the top of their lungs. It was hard to distinguish from "filthy half breeds" and "you could have seriously hurt her!"
Finally we were able to leave, and Sirius insisted on coming. I knew it would be a good time for him to get out. He would go crazy if he was kept in their for much longer. But even I couldn't help worrying he might get caught. I was assigned to stay with Tonks and Mrs. Weasley with Harry.
It took us a while to get to Kings Cross by foot. Sirius entertained Harry and I by chasing birds and cats. Something we both found quite funny. My brother began to tease me about Fred, and I elbowed him hard in the ribs. He glared at me but didn't say anymore.
Finally we got to the station, and casually walked through the barrier. The last people to come through were Remus, Fred, George, and Ginny. They hadn't had any trouble getting here either.
