Fred's POV
It was the Friday for the Quidditch tryouts. Angelina had been furious that Cassie and Harry wouldn't be here to test out the new keepers. Lucky for us she lightened up when she found out Cassie wouldn't be having detention. So, Cassie, George and I walked down to the Quidditch pitch at a quarter to five on Friday.

"Wait so how did you get out of detention?" I asked Cassie as she trotted along side me.

"Oh, Umbridge thought me and Harry would enjoy it to much if we had detention together. So she's decided to make it worse by separating us" she stated mater of factly.

"Well, she wasn't wrong though was she?" George said, "her goal in life must be to make everyone as miserable as possible."

"It must be. Not to mention she's a spy. Merlin, if you two could have heard what she said..." Cassie said.

We arrived at the changing rooms, everyone else was already there. Angelina shot us a 'hurry up' look. George and I exchanged a glance, she was going to be no nicer than Oliver had been. We all hurried and changed into our robes, and soon we were making our way into the field.

The three chasers were in front, Angelina, Katie, and Cassie. Then there was me and George, we were short a seeker and a keeper. I nearly burst out laughing when I saw who was here to try out for a keeper, and so did George. When Cassie noticed this she elbowed us both hard in the ribs.

"Ow!" George and I groaned.

"Be nice. Both of you, or I'll jinx you.He needs as much confidence as he can get, and you two being gits won't help" Cassie said.

My twin and I nodded, neither of us wanted to be on the receiving end of her jinx. Besides, Ron wasn't a terrible keeper. We had forced him to keep for us when we would practice with Charlie. But there was still a good chance he wouldn't be the best keeper here either.

"Alright" Angelina began, "let's start. I expect the best from all of you."

That was less dramatic then I expected.

The tryouts began, and there were definitely good keepers. None of them were Oliver Wood, but they were okay. Geoffrey Hooper was a fair flier and was excellent at dodging bludgers. He only fumbled one easy save. The only trouble was he complained about everything that he could complain about, and it soon got on the teams nerves.

Vicky Frobisher was an excellent flier, and kept out at least ninety five percent of the goals. She was clearly a better flier than I knew Ron was. I was certain that Angelina was going to choose her in the end.

When it was Ron's turn he didn't do half bad. He saved most of the goals, and was decently good at dodging bludgers. Most of the saves he missed were the ones that Cassie threw particularly hard, but he even managed to save some of those.

I looked over at Cassie, she looked like she felt more free than she had in months. Her long hair whipped around her as she flew fast, and she was grinning from ear to ear. I couldn't help the smile that spread across my face, I loved seeing her so happy.

"Oi, lover boy, stop paying attention to your girlfriend and help me out here" George teased.

He quickly recoiled when I threatened to hit him with my bat. We all flew to the ground, and in the end, the new keeper was Ron. I was slightly proud at how well he did, and I was glad he made the team, but I would never tell him or anyone else that.

The Gryffindor Quidditch team decided there would be a party as we changed back into our regular robes. Cassie hurried over to us when she was completely changed, she was practically glowing. George winked at me before he sped away from us. I rolled my eyes at him before I turned to Cassie.

I didn't have a chance to say anything before she kissed me. The familiar feeling that my lips were on fire, and the taste of strawberries filled my mouth.

"What was that for?" I asked when we broke apart.

She simply shrugged, "I like you."

That was a good enough reason for me. I grabbed her hand and laced her fingers with mine. We walked back up the to the castle together, talking excitedly about Quidditch.

When we arrived in the common room the party was already in full swing. There were people drinking butter beer, and several people were gathered around Ron. I couldn't see George anywhere, but I was sure he would turn up. I told Cas I would go get us a butter beer, and hurried off.

I clapped my little brother on the back as I passed him, "good job little bro" I said. He grinned, and turned back to the people who were gathered around him. I returned to Cassie with our butter beers.

"Thanks Freddie" she said as she began to sip it.

It didn't take long for Cassie and I to end up in the corner snogging. My arms were wrapped tightly around her waist and her arms were around my neck. We were completely oblivious to everything going on around us.

We only pulled apart when we heard someone clear their throat. Hermione was standing there awkwardly, avoiding looking at us.

"Yes Hermione?" Cassie asked slightly impatiently.

"Er.. your brother would like to speak to you."

Cassie groaned, "brothers" she muttered under her breathe before she went to go talk to Harry.

A/N- So this was a sort of filler chapter, but I really like it. Thank you all for reading and I hope you liked it, xox.
