Fred's POV
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Ginny, George and I all shouted, standing around where Cassie was sleeping. She stirred and opened her eyes.
"Thanks" she murmured into her pillow.
"Aren't you going to get up?" George asked her.
"Why should I do that?"
"Because it's your birthday" I said.
"Who cares."
George, Ginny and I looked at each other, knowing she was still upset about last night. We had hoped that her birthday would cheer her up. It clearly hadn't.
"We care" Ginny said.
Cassie groaned and sat up, she took a sharp breath and grabbed her side as she did so.
"What's for breakfast?"
"You're a subject changer" I said.
"Yes I am. Now what's for breakfast?"
I shook my head, "whatever mum made."
Fifteen minutes later Cassie had dressed and come into the kitchen. She still looked exhausted, and I wondered if she had gotten any sleep last night.
"Happy birthday Cassie!" Mum exclaimed upon spotting Cassie.
"Thank you Mrs. Weasley, and thanks to all of you guys too, I'm not exactly a ray of sunshine" she said. "Oh my... I've got to write to Harry... wait a minute.. has anyone told your mum about Harry and I..?"
"Oh they've told me. I had to hear it from Dumbledore before I believed it. Thought it was one of Fred and George's jokes."
Cassie plopped down between Ginny and I, eying the bacon. We all piled our plates and started eating. Once we finished mum sat down with a serious look on her face.
"What is it mum?" George asked.
"I need you all to pack your stuff, not all of it just enough for the rest of the summer" mum said.
"Why?" Ginny questioned.
"We're going to go stay somewhere else for a while. Dumbledore is the secret keeper, so I can't tell you where. Somewhere much safer."
"Oh... Mrs. Weasley...you don't need to move anywhere safer because of me. I shouldn't stay to long" Cassie said quietly.
"Don't be ridiculous. It isn't because of you, you're staying with us for the rest of the summer."
"Thank you Mrs. Weasley."
Once we had all finished out breakfast, mum sent us back up to pack. According to her, we had to be wherever it was we were going today. I tossed some clothes into my trunk.
"When do we get to give Cassie the present?" George questioned from where he was carelessly shoving things into his trunk.
"When we get to where we're going I think" I said.
"Well what are we supposed to do with it until then?"
"We'll think of something."
I continued to throw things I would need into my trunk. I found it rather weird that we were going somewhere for a reason nobody would tell us. "Maybe it has something to do with you-know-who's return.." I muttered to myself. "But nobody's heard anything... so it can't be.."
"People will think your mental if you keep talking to yourself like that."
"Shut up George."
Everyone was now waiting for the adults in the kitchen. We sat there whispering quietly about where we could be going.
