Colby and I sat on the soft couch
Playing Rocket League
I've never played it
It's fun
There's been lots of laughing
I like laughter
That's when Sam came in with a camera
"Colby!" He said in a weird voice
He paused for a moment when he saw me
"Oh, Hey Nate. I didn't know that you were over." He said
He started to put his camera down
"I'm sorry, I'll put this down." He said
"No, it's fine. What's it for?" I asked
Sam and Colby shot each other glances that I didn't understand
"YouTube, actually." He stated
"YouTube?" I questioned
"Like a documentary?"
"Sure." He said
"Awesome! Can I watch it when you're done?" I asked happily
"We'll see." He smiled
He continued to record Colby and I
"Colby! Nate!" He rushed over to us again
This time with his camera
"Yeah dude, what's up?" Colby said
Smiling
I just looked intrigued
"I'm gonna prank Aaron, wanna help me out?" Sam asked
Somehow I knew
That even if we said No
He'd still make us do it
"What are we doing?" Colby asked
"So Aaron's sleeping, right?"
Colby and I nodded
Listening
"I've got a two buckets of ice cold water, that we are going to throw on him" Sam chuckled
"Really?" Colby smiled
As did I
"Yeah, I thought Colby, you'd record, while Nate and I throw two buckets of water on him." Sam said
"I'm down, Nate?" Colby and Sam looked at me
"Let's do it." I said
Everyone was yelling and laughing
Until Sam shushed us
Pointing upstairs
Meaning Aaron
Causing us to laugh
We rushed to the bottom of the stairs
Sam handed Colby the camera
While Sam and I both grabbed a bucket
It was heavy
But no where near as heavy as the burdens I've had
Sam and I carried it upstairs
Grunting
"Oh God." Sam kept mumbling
Making me smile
"No! I made a spill." Sam said in a high pitched voice
A small puddle appeared on the stairs
"Sam! The water is supposed to stay inside the bucket!" Colby whisper yelled
"I'm trying." Sam said strained
We finally reached the top
Sam and I placed the bucket down
Taking a break
Sam looked over to the camera
"Alright guys, Nate and I have the water of buckets- I mean-" We all started laughing
"Water of buckets?!" Colby asked
Laughing
"I meant buckets full of water! God dangit!" He laughed
"Whatever, anyways, we're about to go pour them on Aaron now." Sam said
Still smiling
We carried them down the hall
Took a left turn
And entered Aaron's room
Sam on the left side
I was on the right
Next to Buddy
Who was now fully awake
And jumping around
Colby was at the end of the bed
Recording
Aaron was laying on his stomach
Shirtless
But dead asleep
"3..." Sam started to count down quietly
"2...."
".....1!"
"Wake up Aaron!" Sam yelled
As we poured the buckets on him
Watching it drench his hair
And his blankets
He jerked forward
Thrashing around
Unaware as to what was going on
"Huh? Huh? What? Wha-?" He looked around
Colby
Sam
And I
Laughing harder than I've ever laughed before
My stomach hurt from the laughter
As well as my face
I've never done something like this
And it was just so funny
I looked over at Sam
High fiving him
Realizing
I had made friends
I'm not good at making friends
