4 - Star Gazing

I sat on the roof

I'm not supposed to be on the roof

I'm not supposed to do a lot of things

But I do

It was darkening outside

As the sun start to set

I could see stars starting to pop out

But I focused on the decreasing sun

I loved it

I imagined that I could see every aspect of the sun

Every detail

Every inch

Every element

It felt nice

I hugged my knees

It was getting colder

Fall was coming

We wouldn't get much colder than this

We typically don't

But I still don't like the cold

I looked down

Taking a sigh

When my eyes fell upon the house in front of me

Colby

Elton

Corey

Sam

Their house

I saw a boy sitting in the back

His legs stretched out

As he look up at the sky

He laid on his back

Resting on his arms

I took a closer look

Colby

Of course

I should have suspected it

This boy is everywhere I go

I smiled

Quickly a thought came to mind

I turned around

Climbing through my window as I rush to my desk

I grab a pen

A sticky note

And a Frisbee

I begin to write

'You shouldn't stare at the Sun ya know.' I wrote

I climbed back out

Sitting back down

I threw the Frisbee once again

It wasn't perfect

It landed away from Colby

But he still noticed it

He looked up at me

Confused

And then read the note

He looked back at me

Smiling

I smiled back

But

He rushed back inside

Only to come back later with a marker

I saw him scribble something down

He then threw the Frisbee back

It was a good throw

He's good at throwing

I tried to catch it

It dropped it below my feet

I quickly grabbed it as I read the reply

Mine was crossed out

With his under it

'You shouldn't stalk people.' Was the reply

'Observing. There's a difference.' I thought

I smiled

Looking down at him

He smiled back at me

I felt warm

We both looked back at the Sun

Watching it disappear

I'm good at disappearing
