Multiple cannon balls
So many splashes
Lots of water
Loud laughter
I was having fun
For once I was having fun
Tarron and I were so exhausted
So we sat at the edge of the pool
Away from everyone else
As they continued to jump and yell
Just our feet dangled in the water
We kicked them back and forth
Just smiling at the people before us
The people we didn't know
But adored so much
We looked up to them
'I wish we had parents like them.' Tarron suddenly signed to me
'Me too.' I knew my answer
I didn't need to think
'I wish you were my brother.' Tarron signed to me
'I can be your brother now.' I offered
'You know that's not likely. Kate and Pete aren't gonna keep you and you know that. That don't keep any of them.' Tarron frowned
'They kept you.' I argued
'Not officially.' Tarron argued back
I just nodded in understandment
I heard Tarron sigh
'I need to use the bathroom, can you ask where it is for me?' Tarron looked sad
'Yeah.' I assure him
"Hey CJ!" I yelled
This confused everyone but Colby
"What?" Colby yelled back
I heard a murmur
"CJ?" They asked amongst each other
"Can someone show Tarron the bathroom?" I asked
"Sure, I'll do it." Sam volunteered
They both got up and walked off
"CJ?" I heard Corey ask
"Colby Jack." Colby replied
"Oh, I get it."
Everyone laughed at that
"That's clever. Who came up with that one?" Elton asked
"Nate." He motioned towards me
I smiled
"Of course, he's more creative that you are." Elton joked as he chuckled
Colby shot him a glare and splashed water at him
Laughter filled the pool
I didn't feel like laughing
Instead I watched my feet kick the water
That was until I felt someone sit down beside me
I assumed it was Tarron
So I didn't bother looking back up
That was until I heard the voice
"You've been staring at the water for that past five minutes, it's not going anywhere I assure you that." Colby said
