♡ Megan's POV ♡

I walked into school the next day, all the attention on the sling around my arm.

"Oh my gosh, Megan? Are you okay?" Jaden asked as soon as he approached me, placing a hand on the shoulder that was okay.

"Uh yeah, I'm alright." He gave me a look, urging me to continue with the story. "I got hurt yesterday."

"Aha, no shit," Jaden laughed playfully, examining my arm. "What happened?"

"Broken collarbone," I answered, and Jaden nodded his head in understanding.

"How?"

I contemplated on telling him the real story, seeing as I was heading towards the principals office anyways. I hooked my good arm around his, having him walk with me to the office.

"Yesterday, Matt and I walked to school." He nodded, looking confused. I could tell he was wondering how that was relevant to the story.

"Wait, did Matt do this to you?" he asked slowly, his cheeks flushing in embarrassment when I shook my head no right away.

"Oh gosh, no. He's the one who took me to the hospital." Jaden looked relieved, stopping to open the door for me. I thanked him, walking into the room.

"Hello, what can I do for you?" the lady in the front asked. I had never really been in here, so I didn't know the names of the office workers.

"Uh, yes. Can I schedule an appointment with Mr. Avalos?" she nodded, typing away on her computer. I turned to Jaden, who was trying to read what was happening.

"Anyways, as I was saying-"

"Is fourth period okay with you?" I thought about it. Fourth period for me was English, which I never really bothered with.

"Yeah, fourth is fine." Jaden walked me back out, walking beside me in silence. The bell rang, time for first period.

"So are you going to tell me what happened?" I nodded, taking my seat. He took the seat beside me, placing his arm on the back of his chair and propping his head up with his hand to face me.

"So I came here with Matt, and when we went separate ways, Kayla and Jared were waiting at my locker." He gave me a look like he already knew what happened.

"Oh no."

"Oh yes. She threatened me and said that Matt was all hers. When I didn't answer, Jared threw me against the lockers, and the impact on my shoulder ended up breaking my collarbone." He flushed red, looking furious.

"How could you ever date that prick?" Jaden mumbled, shaking his head. Matt walked into the classroom, flashing me a smile before heading to another seat.

"I don't even know, Jaden. Anyways, that's why I went to the principals office this morning. I wanted to report it," I explained.

"Good. He better get suspended." I nodded, the bell ringing to finalize the start of first period. "I'm sorry this happened to you, Meg." Jaden mumbled before turning his attention to the teacher. I smiled, doing the same.

"We're watching a documentary on chemical bonds in class today, no need for notes," the teacher announced, shutting the lights off. He turned on the small tv in the front, playing the video.

"Hey, do you want to hang out later?" Jaden whispered, twirling his pen in his fingers. I looked at him and shrugged.

"Sure, where to?"

"I was thinking maybe just a movie. We can watch Justice League," Jaden suggested. I nodded, agreeing.

"Sounds good." He smiled, turning his attention to the documentary again. I did the same, and when I did I made eye contact with Anna. She wiggled her eyebrows at me, making kissy faces. I laughed a little, shaking my head.
