I stood leaning on the fence as I ran my gaze to the vast cityscape stretched slightly beneath me and a sky full of stars above. The atmosphere was calm and the moonlight was bright enough for easy visibility. I eagerly anticipated your arrival and with you, the answers to all my questions.

You finally arrived, a couple minutes later. This time you were not surrounded by your guards or had anyone else with you. This time I did not stop myself and ran towards you to hug you. It was only when I did so, that I realised how much, truly, I had missed you in all this time. With your arms wrapped around me, pulling me close to you, the fragrance of your cologne engulfing me entirely, I felt at home.

We broke apart only for me to be pulled again into a kiss, something I had been longing for, ever since I saw you again.

"I'm glad you're okay. You had me worried sick, the way you behaved and then disappeared." I finally spoke.

"I'm sorry." You said sheepishly, "I will explain everything now."

We sat down on the bench near the railing and you told me everything about how you planned to bring the organization down from the inside but you had to keep your identity secret.

"Promise me you won't tell this to anyone. Not even to Endou and Kidou." You warned me firmly.

"They don't know?" I was astonished. You never hid anything from them.

"No." You shook your head.

I looked at you. You looked forlorn. I wondered why you decided to take it all upon you alone. But it was too late to reason with you. You had already chosen your path and you had decided to walk on it all by yourself.

"You know you can trust me." I softly responded, reaching out and placing my hand on yours.

"I have to go now." You stood up the next moment, your hand still in mine.

"Can't you stay a while longer?" I pleaded and tugged on your hand.

"I'm already taking a huge risk coming here. If anybody saw us, it will be a whole another complication." You urged me to let go.

I reluctantly complied.
