After celebrating our victory with everyone at Rairaiken, I came back home and you stayed with your friends. I sat down on the floor, leaning against my bed and revised the day's events in my mind. I was still reeling with happiness at the thought that the day I had anticipated for so long had finally arrived. Life was back how it used to be: happy because you were with me again. For once, I couldn't wait for morning to come so that I could run up to you and tell you how happy I was.

My thoughts were suddenly interrupted by the sound of doorbell piercing through my otherwise silent house. I wondered who could it be at that time. Carefully, I opened the door only to be met with shock as I found you standing at my doorstep. As soon as you saw me, you pulled me in for a kiss and I let out a gasp as I held onto you to keep me from falling.

"I wasn't done talking to you." You whispered as soon as we broke apart.

"That didn't seem like talking to me." I joked and we chuckled.

I held your hand and invited you inside. We settled on the couch and I eagerly anticipated what you had to say; but you remained quiet, looking at me with an amused smile.

"So...?" I asked curiously after waiting for a while. When you still remained quiet I began speaking,

"So what did you guys do after leaving Rairaiken?" I tried to make conversation. There was so much I had thought I would say to you but now that you were with me I couldn't think straight. My mind just swam in a hazy bliss.

"We went to the Inazuma Tower and then Endou began insisting we have a match even after having such a hectic day so we dragged him home before he got too riled up." You summarised with a smirk.

I couldn't help but giggle at this account. "That Endou just never gets tired does he?" I commented with amusement.

After a little bit of quiet, you spoke again, "Should we watch a movie?"

"Sure, I would love that." I responded. You shifted closer to me, swinging your arm across my shoulders. I rested my head on your chest as you turned on the TV.

"I didn't even get to tell you yet that I like your new hair." I looked up at you rolling a lock of your blue hair around my finger.

"Don't get too fond of it. It's not staying." You responded, slightly flustered, as you played the movie. It was one of our favourites.

"No! Why?" I pouted.

"Shhh...the movie's starting." You avoided the conversation.

That night I felt truly content and at peace for the first time in months, nestled in your arms, playing with your fingers. Soon, my sleep deprived eyes began feeling heavy and eventually it became impossible to stay awake.

I woke up to the sunshine falling on my face. When I came to my senses I realised I was in my bed, in fact so neatly tucked in I knew I couldn't have done that myself. I immediately realised you must have carried me there after I fell asleep and before I knew it I was grinning ear to ear.

I picked up my phone to check the time and found a sticky note on top of the screen.

Meet me at the Inazuma Tower at 9. Hope that's not too early for you, sleepyhead.

I took the note out and kept it aside. I looked at my phone and it was already 8:45 am.

"Oh no, I'm going to be late!" I exclaimed as I jumped out of my bed to get ready.
