Everything I had done to stay calm and collected came crashing down in that one meeting. I went back to my old restless self again, the one that missed you terribly when you were gone and remained restless unless she could make sure you were okay.

I stayed cooped up in my house the entire duration of that time. My mind was constantly preoccupied with one and only one thought, wondering what was going on with you and what you might be doing.

Aki and Haruna called and texted me a couple of times to see if I was okay but I ignored all of it. I didn't know what I would tell them. I had nothing to say.

And then one day after what seemed like an eternity I received a text from you.

"We won. Everything is okay now. " And a follow up text, "I'm coming over in a bit."

"That is great news." I replied.

You rushed in to hug me as soon as I opened the door. You wore a radiant smile on your face as you enwrapped me in your arms. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath before preparing to speak,

"Stop."

Your grip loosened in shock.

"Please just...stop." I lightly pushed you away.

"What's wrong, Kira?" You asked in utter shock as you took a step back.

Before I could even begin speaking, tears fogged up my vision but I felt it to be for the best because I couldn't look at you and say what I was about to say.

"You can't keep doing this to me. " My voice was calm but serious, "You can't just leave me like this without any explanation and then come back like nothing's wrong."

You stood in stunned silence for several seconds.

"Kira just try to understand..." You then stepped forward to console me but I took a step back.

"You promised you won't leave me behind this time."

"But I told you everything." You reasoned.

"Really? Then how is it I have no idea what you have been doing all this time? Where have you been?" My voice was getting distorted now because I couldn't stop crying.

You remained wordless for a while and I tried to control my crying.

"So what now, Kira?" You asked in a sombre voice.

"I just want you to leave me alone for a while. Just...go." I concluded and immediately went upstairs.
