"Garimaji..."

Her name escaped his lips as an inaudible whisper and his moist eyes filled with hope and relief. He gulped and glanced at Meghna standing besides him with the same emotions running through her face.

"D-dekhiye...please aise patient ko disturb mat kijiye! Woh so rahi hai bas...aur kuch nahi hua unke saath! (L-look...please don't disturb the patient! She is just sleeping... Nothing has happened to her!)" The pleading voice of the nurse broke their reverie and they looked at her who was having a hard time controlling the strangers around the unconscious girl on the bed.

Composing himself, Amar exhaled before walking to them while Meghna stood at her place itself.

"She-" he cleared his constricted throat before continuing, "she is right! Look, she.." He pointed towards Khushi, "she needs rest! So, please?"

Payal lifted her gaze to him hearing his request and then glanced back at Khushi's sleeping form.

He was right...such chaos was not good for Khushi. She doesn't know who the man instructing her is but she guessed he must be the one bringing her here in this hospital.

She should thank him later, she thought as for now, all that's important is Khushi.

Looking at her pale and worn out face, anyone would guess her inner state.

At this point, she should be kept away from all stress and disturbance. She thought looking at her family who was oblivious of their surroundings. Only Khushi was in their vision.

"Amma..Buaji..please..please get a grip on yourself! We should not fall weak...please?" She requested in a low and constricted voice and seemed relieved getting their attention.

Buaji nodded and held Garima by her shoulders who after giving a peck on Khushi's forehead went outside half heartedly.

Payal's gaze travelled from them to Khushi and she blinked back the moisture resulting from the pain suffocating her from inside. Instructing the nurse to take care of Khushi, she walked out of the ward before she could fall apart seeing her sister's condition.

The nurse rather sighed and got back to her work while Amar stood still trying to grasp the happenings around him.

"Amar..." He looked at Meghna who was now standing besides him holding his shoulder.

His mouth moved to form words but his vocals betrayed him and nothing but gasps escaped.

Meghna half closed her eyes and pressed his shoulder in comfort.
