Happy New year in advance!
***
The news of Arnav and Khushi getting back together and deciding to get marry, this time properly with trust and love both, brought waves of happiness, ecstasy, overwhelms, doubts and skepticism in Shantivan, each family having different reactions.
Khushi was asked umpteen of times whether this is what she wants and whether this is what will make her happy, actually happy or not, and after her confirmation, warnings were given to Arnav and his family, which they took with a smile, knowing that this time they would live up to Khushi's expectations effortlessly, for they knew what it is to live without her.
And after that, there were just glee, everywhere. Everyone was happy, relieved that both Khushi and Arnav are going to get their deserved, happiness, at last.
Payal shrieked, pulling Khushi into a tight hug, causing the latter to laugh at her sister.
"Thank you.." Khushi whispered in her Jiji's ear and Payal, knowing what she was referring to, smiled and broke the hug, then cupped her face.
"Years ago I did wrong by hiding one truth, I couldn't bring myself to repeat it again." She said softly, smiling through tears at her sister, who seems happy after so long.
The feeling was heartwarming and not being able to control herself, she pulled Khushi back into a hug.
"I'm so happy for you.." Her voice cracked, causing Khushi to shake her head and smile as she stroked her Jiji's back.
Kabir moved to Arnav, who was handling a crying Nani.
"Now, remember, you hurt her-"
"-I die, I remember it, thanks for the reminder though." Arnav said, his lips curled into humor.
Kabir stared at him with a serious face before breaking into a smile.
He patted his shoulder, blinking in agreement. Satisfied, he then joined his family, who were already planning the grand wedding.
Themes were already being discussed, one for each ceremony they will be having. Manorama was just gushing over how the Raizadas will again become the highlight of every news channel and how now she needs to take special care of her looks so she doesn't disappoint her Arnav bitwa.
Anjali, Akash, NK and Mitali were planning the dances and songs they'll be using, shrieking in excitement while Meghna and Garima were already booking the responsibility of Khushi's wedding lehenga.
Shashi and Amar were simply smiling at their over enthusiastic family, pleased that their daughter was finally about to get her share of happiness after such a long period of suffering.
"I want don't want a grand wedding!" Khushi's sudden voice resounded in the hall, interrupting their fervent conversation.
They stopped, looked up and slowly raised their eyebrows in question.
Khushi stepped forward, sighing as she proceeded to clear their confusion. "I want a simple wedding, a quick and simple one. Only the wedding, I-I don't want to waste time in anything else."
"But Khushiji," Anjali said, skeptical as she glanced around at others having an absolute confounded face. "Why?"
Khushi shrugged. "Just because I want it this way. Probably."
