The night had passed by rather in an argonising slow speed.
NK groaned at the noises around him and squeezed his eyelids feeling an ache at the back of his neck. Whimpering, he opened his eyes and almost had a panic attack seeing the bustling of people in front of him.
He stood up frantically, holding his neck and looked around at the unfamiliar surroundings. The nurses and doctors passing by and the sick smell of medicines filled in his senses and he slumped back on the bench sighing.
He looked over to Arnav, sitting in the same position as he last saw him before falling into a disturbed slumber. It seemed like he didn't even budged a muscle.
He sighed again.
He had shouted, literally pleaded and even tried to drag him out of the hospital but he was stubborn on his wish to meet Khushi that even his thousands tries failed. Let alone moving, Arnav sat there without uttering a single word.
He remembered how he had to use his power as a Raizada to get Arnav permission to stay there as he would neither talk nor move when the doctor rebuked him.
He exhaled walking to him.
"Arnav, stop this madness now..let's go home..see even di is hell worried about you!" He said softly, having no strength to shout and showed him the endless notifications of messages and missed calls from home on his phone.
"Let's go..please?" He added in the same tone and arched his head back in indignation as he remained quiet.

Khushi smiled as Ruhi hugged her tight and cried.
"I will not talk to you..you again left me alone!" Ruhi complained with a semi pout, her face smushed as she pressed it against Khushi's breast. Her childish voice causing them all to smile.
"Really? But then how will your Khushi didi get strength to recover without her Ruhi? If so then I think I will have to stay here for weeks!" Khushi replied faking a sad face.
Ruhi jerked from her arms, looking at her with horror and shaking her head sideways, she spoke,
"No no...I will talk to you! Aap bas jaldi se theek hoke ghar aa jaiye! (You just recover fast and come back home!)"
Khushi chuckled and hugged the little bundle of happiness close to her.
She sighed.
Ruhi has been at home since yesterday evening, with Amaya, Khwaish's friend and had another session of crying when no one returned home. It was when Amaya called that they remembered how cranky Ruhi will get in the absence of her mother. Meghna and Amar had to leave immerdiately and now, they were back..with Ruhi who insisited on seeing Khushi.
