First of all, sorry for not updating yesterday. The network at my place is really bad due to the weather and because of that, I have been unable to open the drafts.

And secondly, because it's again a long chapter, there are a lot of grammatical mistakes. I tried fixing some but I'm sure I left many behind but so, bear with me please (again).

She sighed inaudibly, looking down from the bridge at the glistening crystal-blue water flowing serenely, the light breeze ruffling the surface every now and then and the wind carrying that ruffling sound up to her, like a soft melody in this quietness.

A cold wind blew and she shivered, bringing up her hands to caress her skin graced with goosebumps, still lost in her thoughts.

It's been a month. A month since she missed her flight to Ooty, to discover another betrayal from her beloved Arnavji. A month since he regained consciousness, probably to again harm himself. A month since he is in the hospital for observation and a month since she last saw him. She didn't see him again after fainting in the hospital.

She was hospitalized, in the ward right next to his, for a day due to her low blood pressure and severe headache, and after that she went back home, determined to never see him again, not in that condition lest she wants to lash out at him again.

Even he didn't register her absence for the following few days as he was drowsed in medicines the doctors gave him so he wouldn't feel much pain from the havoc the poison created in his organs. It was perhaps a week later that he finally asked about her, first and last time since he was in the hospital. He didn't ask after that, and she never bothered about it, because she was angry. Still very much angry.

She was honest. When she said she will never forgive him for his act, she was dead serious. Till now she hasn't been able to erase the image of him vomiting blood and collapsing in her arms, and so with the trauma, the resentment was also present in her mind, in her heart. She felt as though there were no justifications to his this betrayal, and so she never tried to talk to him, not even now when she was leaving for San Francisco.

She let out a breath and checked her watch.

There is still much time left for her flight. She decided to leave earlier, and alone, so she could get some fresh air. It was literally after a month that she was allowed to be outside alone. Her family had been worried sick since she wouldn't wake up that day, until the sun rose again, and she was put to strict bed rest.

But now she is free, free to go, to fly a new place where under the pretext of work, she will be able to give her mind some peace and rest from the chaos Arnav created. Again.
