"Bhai..Bhaiya..?" Mitali called hesitantly knocking on the door while holding the tray. She inhaled a relaxing breath and pushed the door open when she didn't get a reply but was awarded by the darkness spreaded all over the room.
"Bhaiya..?" She called again, her voice faltering because of the sudden dread. She knew he must be broken by what happened and she thought leaving him alone for sometime would be better but now this darkness accompanied by this silence scared her to hell.
Gulping, she entered the room and gasped as her feet crushed over what felt like glass pieces. Controlling her tremble in her feet, she walked inside and looked around when her eyes caught the sight of the figure crouched in the corner of the room.
She sighed moving towards the light switch. The room illuminated with light, revealing the havoc that Arnav's pain has created. The dread in her heart grew deeper as she approached him slowly walking over the mess he created and she gasped in horror seeing his bleeding form.
Keeping the tray on the table, she ran towards him and knelt on the floor holding his hand.
"Oh My God Bhaiya, you are bleeding.." She said horiffied at his injuries. She swallowed as she pulled out a piece of glass pierced into his palm and winced but he didn't budged.
"I'll get the First-" She stopped as she looked up to him lifting his face and went stilled seeing the sheer intensity of pain in his eyes.
"Bhaiya.."
Arnav shuddered, his eyes brimmed with tears and the muscles in his chin trembled.
"Dard horaha hai..(It's paining..)" He croaked and punched over his chest to show where it was hurting him.
"Bohot zyada dard horaha..bohot..(It's paining a lot..a lot..)" He choked on his tears as his head slumped back against the wall and he closed his eyes, crying helplessly, causing Mitali to stifle a sob.
She pressed her lips together seeing her strong brother falling apart and slowly reached to wipe his tears.
"Everything...everything will be alright.." She said in a tone of whisper.
Arnav chuckled inconsolably, rolling his face to the other side sluggishly.
"Alright? Everything would have been alright if I had left any scope for it.." He laughed at himself.
Mitali inhaled as he opened his eyes. His smile disappeared then re-appeared as he added sadly,
"She doesn't even want to talk to me now.. She said that we are strangers as from now..nothing but pain had binded us.. no pain, no us..but..but.." He paused looking down, his voice heavy with emotions, "But I love her..truly...I have..I have always loved her...the only mistake I did was to call it an act.. But now..now she is not even talking to me..if she would then I would have told her..that I love her...I love her..I truly do.."
