The days passed by rather quickly and peacefully for both families. The fashion show was a success and today was it's success party. Everyone was happy but the happiest was Khushi.

Since the last month, she has been avoiding Arnav and not for once did he tried to talk to her, insulting her was out of question, And tonight after this party, he will leave Ooty forever. Then she can live in peace.

The danger that overshadowed her baby will go away with him.

She thought, ecstatic as she looked at herself in the mirror. Dressed in ocean blue evening gown, she was looking ethereal. Her baby bump was visible a bit and she smiled caressing it.

She exhaled.

Just one more night.

One more confrontation and that's it!

She blew out another breath and smiled.

He smirked entering the party venue and looked around.

Looks like Miss. Gupta was not here yet.

His smirk widened as he thought about what will happen when she finally arrives.

If she thought he forgot her misbehavior the other day then she was wrong. No one insults Arnav Singh Raizada and gets away with it.

What did she say?

That he does not affect her anymore? And oh, how can he forget...that she will destroy him if he again mess up with her.

"Very well then Khushi Kumari Gupta, let's see who destroys whom!"

The Bhallas and the Guptas reached the venue about twenty minutes later. They entered the beautifully decorated hall to see Arnav and Akash along with their family. Kabir smiled taking his family to greet them.

Khushi and Payal just smiled at each one of them, receiving an equally fake smile from them.

Khushi cleared her throat and looked everywhere but Arnav who stood gaping at her.

His eyes moved from her feet to her face and lingered on her lips before finally settling on her eyes and her heart pounded as she found herself under his heated gaze.

His breath was whisked by how divine she looked in that dress. Her hair was in a single-braided low bun with puffy crown and loose strands adorned her face.
