Arnav walked inside his house almost like a zombie. His shirt was hanging out of his pants and his coat hung loosely over his shoulder. His face was a mess and the gloomy expression made an impression of a nonexistent beard.

His steps faltered when he missed the front steps and he fell down with a thud, attracting attention of the others.

"Chotte.."

"Bhai.."

"Arnav.."

Gasping his name, everyone ran to him, sick in panic as he stood back on his feet.

Anjali limped and crashed into his arms, holding his shirt tightly and pouring her tears on his shoulder.

"Where were you?? Why didn't you answer our calls??? Do you even know how sick we all were in your worry? NK Bhai and Akash has been out since yesterday looking for you everywhere and you came now??? Couldn't you be more responsible...for once.." She croaked, sobbing his arms while he stood still. His arms hung loose by his side instead of being around her in comfort and she looked up in confusion realising the change in his posture but then stumbled back as she got a closer look of his face.

"Cho..chotte.." She gasped, seeing his bloodshot eyes and blank face, as if he was nothing but just a portrait..devoid of life and emotions.

No pair of eyes were dry. Everyone cried at his state as he walked past them without any reaction.

Anjali sobbed, falling right on the floor.

"It's all..all my fault...all my fault..JUST MY FAULT!!!!" She wailed holding her head in her hands.

No one had the strength to comfort each other and so they dispersed to cry their heart out in their own respective corner.

Anjali was right. It's her fault and along with her, everyone had their own contribution to what has happened with Arnav today. If they had been careful and considerate towards Arnav's happiness, then maybe they would given Khushi another chance, just they gave Shyam for Anjali's sake.

Her innocence would have been proved one day or the other and they would have stayed happy but no..they had to ruined their life completely in search of temporary happiness.

The room was pitch dark when he opened the door. Staggering inside, he allowed his lifeless hands to close the door and switch on the lights.

The brightness of the light made him close his eyes, as if he had been staying in the dark since years and when he opened them, he found himself facing his mirror.

His hands involuntarily reached his face. Bruises was what he saw there, some given by Kabir and some by himself. His branded suit seemed almost like a shabby piece of cloth that he carelessly shrugged in and his hair was as if wind-blown. In short, in no angle did he look like The Arnav Singh Raizada.
