The season draws near, but before, I didn't really care if people saw me in a Christmas sweater in the middle of July. It comforted me and made me feel better when I felt like my life was falling apart— the seams of Christmas kept me sane enough.
I guess it's the whole idea of Christmas and the fact that it's supposed to bring joy to people makes me assume that maybe if I wear a Christmas sweater, I'll feel the joy of Christmas surge through me like the electrical currents in the colorful LED Christmas lights strung up on our tree.
