Did you hear about that girl
that died of
a broken heart?
She died too soon
and didn't get to
experience the world
with colored eyes
and a smile on her face.
She spent too long
living in a sepia
colored room
where she lived out
her fantasies
and loved a man
who would soon
break her heart.
She believes that
he still loves her
the way that she
loved him,
but the pieces
she's tried to put together
are too jumbled
and it's hard
to piece everything
together back to
what it used to be.
