I would take us somewhere to eat, maybe to The Grove, or AJ's, or Bubba Gump— it depends on what kind of food you like. I'd pick you up in my Fiat, and I'd let you pick the music we listen to, even if I don't like it. I'd take my camera so I can keep the memory of our first date.
Once we get there I'd talk to you the whole time, about life, your interests, or maybe show you some cute dog videos on YouTube to pass the time. I wouldn't text anyone because I'd be so focused on making sure that you're having a good time. After we order and wait for our food I might capture a photo of you if you let me, and if we became a couple, I'd save that picture for life.
We would be served our food and we'd eat, talking and laughing in between bites. I would ask you about your family, and I might think about taking you to my house to formally introduce you to my family, even though you know my sister and dad already. If we stay at my house, maybe we could play some games together, or watch a movie that you like.
When I take you back home I might kiss your cheek and thank you for such a fun night. I would go home and lay in bed, thinking about the amazing night I just had with you, and I would be tempted to text you, but I would give you your space, and see how you are the next day.
If you were mine, I would do anything to make sure that you had a great time, no matter what we do.
