Like an idiot I smile and squirm around every time I get a message from her. We're supposed to be "just friends" but I hope that she'll get to know me better and when she feels that the time is right, she'll go on a date with me, and maybe, just maybe, she'll fall for me.
It's only been a few days of getting to know each other, but I take in every fact that she tells me as if my life depended on it, because I want to get to know her better and I hope that I can learn to be one of her best friends, even if I can't win her heart in the end.
