When I become a famous poet, I will never forget about you, because you are the living reason why I write and you are the experience that I have faced that's made me scribble down so many words in place for your absence in my life.
I hope that when you fall in love with someone better than me that you never forget me and our memories. I hope you never forget my lips on you when you kiss her. I hope you never forget my eyes and the way they sank into your soul and nestled themselves in there. I hope that she never gets sad the way that I do and I hope that you never have to see another cut on someone ever again because you've seen way too many etched into my arms and thighs. A doctor has probably seen less trauma than what you have seen in me. I just hope that when you fall in love with her, that you never forget who you fell in love with first. Me.
