CHAPTER30. IRELAND

NIALL’s P.O.V.

When I opened my eyes, I saw that it was 9.

“Fuck!” I quickly got up and took a shower, and packed rest of the stuff I needed. I didn’t even get a chance to buy a tux for the wedding, so I will have to get it there.

By 9:45 I was ready, I took my bag and locked the house and left.

“To the airport” I said to the cab driver, I sat and looked at the phone, there was no message, no phone call, no nothing from Adrian. I hate myself for what happened yesterday, I hate that I messed up again.

“Can you just stop here, for a second?” I said to driver when we drove past a flower shop, I got down and went inside, I asked the lady to give me a rose bouquet.

“Before the airport, I need to make another stop nearby”. The driver nodded.

I gave him directions to Adrian’s place.

“It will just be 10 min” I said and left.

I rang the doorbell, waiting for someone to open the door, but nobody did.

I rang it again, luckily this time somebody opened the door, Mrs. Scott.

“Hi, Niall what are you doing here?”

“ Umm I just want you to give this to Adrian, and tell her that I am sorry”. I handed her the bouquet. I knew that Adrian won’t come down and talk to me, so this will be better, I guess.

“You going somewhere?” Mrs. Scott asked me, when she saw the cab, cause usually I come in my car so..

“Yeah, Ireland”

“Oh! Adrian told me about your brother’s wedding. Congratulate him from my side”

“Sure. I gotta rush.” I said and left.

 

“Keep the change” i said to the driver.

I picked up my bags and made my way inside the airport.

 

*IN THE FLIGHT*

I took out my ipod and plugged in my head-phones. The first song that played was ‘Just the way you are’ by Bruno mars. I remember when I sang this song to Adrian at Cece’s birthday party.

*FLASHBACK*

“The party is great” I complimented Harry.

“Thanks, mate.” Harry replied.

“Where are our girlfriends?” I asked him. I haven’t seen Adrian and Cece from the past 15 minutes.

“They must be here somewhere dude. Chill!”

“Niall?” I heard someone shouting. I turned and saw that it was Cece.

“Adrian needs you” she said.

“What do you mean by that?”

“Some girl insulted her, saying she is not pretty and blah blah, she is upset, I think she need you right now”

“Who did that?’

“I don’t really know” she replied.

I gave my beer bottle to Cece and walked towards the room where Adrian was.

“hey princess you okay?” I sat next to her on the bed.

“Yeah” she lied, wiping off her tears.
