"Come on then sweetie," Jasmine says, grabbing her car keys from the desk and leading me outside to her car.
We both hop in and she begins driving."So are you and Sam getting along a lot better now?" she asked.
"Yeah" I replied. "He's been very kind today which is good."
"That's good to hear. And how are you feeling about getting braces again?" she said.
"I don't really want to, but I know Sam wants me to. So really I have no other choice."
"They'll be worth it in the long run" Jasmine replied.
"I'm just starting to get sick of the dentist now though. Like I know my older brother is a dentist, but it just feels like I'm constantly there. But I don't want to be."
"That's understandable darling, but Sam just wants what's best for you. He just worries about you and wants you to have the best health you can."
There was silence for a little while as Jasmine concentrated on driving.
"Hey Jasmine" I said, breaking the silence.
"Yes honey?"
"Would you ever date Sam?" I asked.
This question seemed to take Jasmine by surprise, as I noticed her eyes widen and her face turn slightly red."Errr... that's a very random question to ask Billy. I'm not sure. Why?"
"Well Sam likes you, and I think you're great, so I think you'd be a good match for Sam."
"That's very sweet of you Billy. However, Sam has a lot going on in his mind right now, so maybe now isn't the best time to try to be cupid" Jasmine told me, still sounding embarrassed.
"Jasmine, I'm being serious" I said forcefully.
Jasmine didn't respond to me, she just kept her eyes locked on the road until we finally reached my school. I jumped out of the car and she immediately sped away.
"Bloody adults" I mumbled to myself, before heading into school.

Once school was finished, I began walking straight home just like Sam had instructed.
It was an unusual day, as Kyle hadn't been in school and I had absolutely no idea why! Yet, I got to spend a lot of time with Lola which was enjoyable.I entered through the front door to my house, took off my shoes and called Sam's name.
"Hey buddy, I'm in the living room" I heard Sam call out.
I followed the sound of his voice into the living room and was shocked at what I saw. Sitting beside my brother was the spikey haired, weirdo kid that I called my best friend. It was Kyle!
"Kyle?" I said, with a grin forming on my face. "Dude, why are you here?"
I walked over to Kyle and pulled him into a hug."You said how you wanted to help Kyle, so here we are helping him. We're doing a trial adoption for a few days, to see how Kyle gets on with us" Sam said, placing his hand on Kyle's back.
"For real?" Kyle, you're basically my brother now!" I exclaimed, running over to Kyle.
"Yeah I guess so" Kyle laughed.
Kyle, Sam and I sat down in the living room talking for a while, it was a great chance for us all to bond a little better, seeming as Kyle would hopefully be spending a lot of time with us in the near future.
