"Now then Billy, you can pick anywhere you want to go for food. Where's it gonna be?" Sam smiled, holding his hands on the side of my shoulders.
"I don't care Sam" I whispered, holding my stomach. "I'm too hungry to care. And I want to go home too." A tear slipped out of my eye.
Sam brushed away the tear from my cheek and scooped me up into his arms. "I'll get you your favourite" he grinned.
"Wanna come along, Adam?" Sam smiled, looking up at Adam who was still standing in the room."No, no, you guys go ahead. You both deserve some time together. I'll lock up the office for you Sam and i'll also drop Billy's stuff off at your house this evening, since it's still all in my car. Also Sam, you need to head by the orphanage to sign a few things. See you both soon!" Adam then walked out of the room and we waved him goodbye.
Sam stood up with me in his arms and carried me out to his car, where I sat in the passengers seat and plugged myself in. Sam then began to drive.
"Sam, I don't wanna go out in public. I stink." I mumbled, slightly embarrassed.
"Have you not showered?" Sam asked sympathetically.
I shook my head 'no', looking very sad.
"You brushed your teeth though, right?" Sam asked very calmly.
I knew Sam would be angry to know that I hadn't brushed my teeth for a whole week, and I was very embarrassed to admit it myself since it was utterly disgusting of me. But nevertheless, I softly nodded my head 'yes' to which Sam nodded his head back at me, rasing one eyebrow slightly.
'Billy, you idiot!' I instantly thought to myself. 'He's a dentist! He can probably see that you haven't been brushing your teeth!'
I knew I'd probably get a lecture in the evening and a deep, thorough cleaning from Sam, which was definitely something not to look forward to! But I guess I had to to pay for my wrong-doings.~Sam's POV~
I knew Billy wasn't telling the truth about brushing his teeth. As soon as he started talking to me I noticed discolouration and major plaque buildup. I also noticed he had rather bad breath. Yet, I decided to ignore all of this for the time being as Billy had been through a lot throughout the past week and all I currently wanted was to make him happy again, as he seemed extremely bummed down. The brushing teeth situation would just have to wait until a later date, most probably the evening.
I created small talk with Billy during the car journey. Billy didn't talk much, which was understandable from his lack of energy and the fact he'd thrown up not too long ago so I did most of the talking, mainly trying to put even the slightest bit of a smile on his face.
I parked up in the pizza hut car park, one of Billy's favourite places to eat.
"I'll just go collect the food, you can wait in the car if you want?" I smiled, to which Billy nodded his head.
~Billy's POV~
Sam hopped out of the car and returned about ten minutes later holding a large pizza box, a can of coca-cola and two bottles of water. He unlocked the car and jumped inside, passing me the pizza box, one of the bottles of water and the can of coca-cola, keeping one of the bottles of water for himself.
"It's all yours Billy" Sam smiled, whilst plugging himself back in and beginning to drive.
I opened the pizza box and realised it was my favourite flavour- BBQ chicken!
"This is my favourite, thank you Sam!" I smiled, whilst digging into the pizza, demolishing it with heavy bites.
"No problem buddy, make sure you drink the fizzy too. As much as I don't like you drinking it, I know you like it and it seems like you need the energy from it."
