I didn't know what to say. I'd intruded on something beyond awkward.
I stood staring at Jasmine's cleavage, I couldn't find the will to avert my eyes!
Jasmine quickly pulled her top back on and stood up."I'm sorry" she murmured. "I should probably get going." She began to exit the room.
"Jas- don't- it's alright-" Sam stuttered.
Jasmine brushed past me and slid on her shoes, before exiting out of the front door and shutting it behind her. I turned my immediate attention back to Sam, who was looking at me bright red in the face. He also pulled his top back on, covering his muscular complexion, and casually took a seat on the sofa.
"I like Jasmine, alright Billy?" he said sarcastically.
"State the obvious why don't you" I replied. "Sam, yeah what I saw may be slightly awkward and embarrassing, but I really don't care that you and Jasmine were making out. Sam, I'm happy that you and Jasmine are getting close!"
"Really?" he asked surprised, looking up at me with hopeful eyes.
"Yeah. Besides, you know that I really like Jasmine. I told you before how I thought you'd be a good couple."
"That makes me happy Billy. I'll be honest with you here, I've just been so stressed out lately. I really needed what Jasmine just gave me... err, just don't worry Billy- you're probably too young to understand. Come on now, off to bed with you."
"But Sam, what happened when you went out?"
"Doesn't matter" he replied bluntly.
"But Sam, there's a cut on the side of your face- did he hurt you?"
"Bed, Billy!"

I awoke the next morning and checked the clock sitting on my bedside table. It was 9:47, I was extremely late for school! I looked down and noticed Kyle wasn't beside me- I assumed he was already at school. But why hadn't Sam woken me up?! I quickly hopped out of bed, got changed into my school uniform, grabbed my backpack and rushed downstairs, where I immediately began putting on my shoes in the corridor. But then to my surprise, Sam wandered around from the corner and looked down at me.
"I'm giving you the day off school bud, you went through a lot last night" he said.
"The whole day off? To do what ever I want?" I asked excitedly.
"Well, I was going to take you to the office with me... to get your teeth fixed up" he replied.
To that remark, I quickly bolted back up the stairs and slammed my bedroom door shut. I'd seen the state my teeth were in for myself- there was no way I was going to let Sam even take a look at my teeth. I knew for a fact there'd be a lot of pain involved, and I was totally sick of the dentist now anyway!
Sam knocked on my bedroom door, before slowly opening it and entering. I hid under the covers on my bed, trembling. I felt him sit down beside me."Buddy, please. I just want to help you" he whispered, as he slowly pulled the covers away from me, causing his face to slowly come into focus.
"That's what you say everytime!" I sniffled.
"And everytime I do help you, don't I?"
