My Brother, The Dentist

Chapter 13-

~Billy's POV~

My brother was really getting on my nerves, just being here in MY classroom!

"So you, here, at the front. What's the reason you haven't had braces?"

Sophie, the stunner of the school, replied in a rather 'modest' tone of voice. "Because you told me a few appointments back that I already have orthodonticly perfect teeth."

"Yes I remember that, and you take good care of your teeth Sophie, it's a pleasure checking your teeth. Now, you, in the middle, what's your reason?"

"Because you told me not all of my permanent teeth have grown through yet" replied Adam, a small kid with a large brain.

"Yes, that is correct. And once your permanent teeth have grown through, we can work on the braces that you obviously deserve. Good job!"

"Now lastly, you at the back!"

My brother, his eyes had captured mine. I noticed everyone's beady eyes begin connecting with mine. Crap.

"Ah, hello Billy. So, tell everyone. What's your reason for not having braces?"

I couldn't lie, he knew the truth. Yet, I didn't want to embaress myself infront of all my peers. Damn, it just had to be done.

I cleared my throught and raised my kneck up high, trying to hide the audacity and my sheepish, blushing ways. "Errr" I rubbed the sweat of the back of my neck. "Because, well, I refuse to let you put them on my teeth..."

Slight giggles could be heard exchanging across the class. I slowly, sinked back into my chair before rushing towards the door, to make my great escape. I had taken just me and my bag, and I was heading for the school field. I heard the concerned voice of my teacher call my name, but I was out of there!

Everyone was in class so the corridors resembled a zombie apocalypse, empty and silent. I slid around the corner and zoomed onto the school field, where I layed, face flat on the damp grass, crying tears of anger!
