AN: Wow, where does the time go? I haven't updated in a while! Sorry guys! Anyway, here's a new chapter. Hope you like it :D

I noticed Adam following along behind me, yet he didn't say a word. I bursted into Sam's office and he turned around from his desk to face me.

"Hello Billy. Hello Adam. What's up? Did you do the examination, Adam? Was Billy any trouble at all?"

"No troubles with Billy's behaviour at all, Sam" Adam lied. I looked up at him to thank him with a facial gesture, but he kept his eyes locked firmly away from mine. "I did the examination and found the issues that need to be fixed, we just need to discuss how to go about it now."

"Thank you Adam" Sam replied. "Billy, can you go wait in my exam room please whilst Adam and I discuss a few things. I'll be through soon, okay buddy?"

I nodded my head and left the room, carefully closing the door behind me. I crouched down onto the floor and placed my ear against the door, just enough to hear the muffled discussion taking place.

"Thank you for handling the examination Adam. So, what's the damage?" I heard Sam ask.

"It's not fantastic. There's three chipped teeth, two loose teeth and one that's missing" Adam replied.

"Shit" Sam muttered, the profanity almost being too quiet for my ears. "The chips will be okay to deal with, he's had one of those fixed before. But you obviously know that the only option for the loose teeth is for them to be pulled."

"That's what I was worried about. Plus, then there will be three missing including the one that's already gone, so what's your solution for the gaps?"

"There's two possibilities, but I'd need to look at the damage myself before deciding which is the best option. It'd be either implants or when we refit his braces we could tighten them so the teeth move together."

"The only thing with the braces idea is the teeth all being on the same side of his mouth, I'm just not sure I see it working."

"I'll take a look. But we could always just use both implants and braces. I'm just not sure how comfortable I'll be with him having implants at such a young age; and I don't want to slit my brother's gums with a scalpel, it seems too unethical."

What the f*ck?... he couldn't do that. He wouldn't do that. But, he has to.

"Yeah... Sam, have you evaluated the option of sedating him during the procedure? I feel like that'd be more beneficial than him being fully awake. You know for a fact he's going to put up some sort of fight."

How could Adam say this about me?! But to be honest, he wasn't wrong.

"I have thought about that as a matter of fact, I think..."

"Billy!" I heard an angry voice whisper under their breath. It startled me. I fell backwards, hitting my head on Sam's office door. Jasmine came hurtling towards me and lifted up my head as I rubbed the throbbing pain.

"What on earth is going on?!" Sam bellowed, as he whooshed open the door. "Billy Chespin, I thought I told you to wait in my exam room!"

"You did Sam, I'm sorry" I whispered. "I just fell and banged my head on the door, it was an accident, I swear."

"Jas, is this true?" Sam asked, glaring down at Jasmine with his arms now crossed.
