A/N

So before the start of chapter two I'd like to thank anyone who has begun to read this. I am new to Watt Pad and this is my first story so I hope you like it! Also, if I write ? POV it doesn't mean I don't know whose POV it is, but it's a characters POV that you, the readers, don't know the name of yet. Any way, enjoy the chapter! ^.^

? POV

I raced all the way back to my house, not caring that the wind whipped at my cloak and redened my cheeks. I pushed the door open and didn't bother to be quiet. Completely ignoring that it was almost three in the morning, I raced up to my parents' room and shook them awake. "Wake up! I have something really important to tell you!" I hissed. My dad groaned and rolled over. My mom sat up, rubbing her eyes. "Sweetie, is it really that important that you couldn't wait until morning?" "NO! I have to tell you now! A ninja saved my life! A NINJA Mom!" I noticed my mother's eyes were now alert, and my father was actually listening. "What do you mean you were saved by a ninja?" Dad asked. "I was on a roof of a building and almost fell. But a ninja saved me!" "Wait, why were you on a roof top in the middle of the..." "Never mind that! It's a long story. That can wait for morning. All you need to know is what I've told you." I said, smiling. Then I raced off down the hall to my bedroom.

Something strange was happening, and Julia was right in the middle of it.

? POV

I had been watching the sorceress on the roof for a few days now. It was merely chance I had even seen her. I had just been out with friends, on my way back home, when the moon shone on her ever so perfectly that I saw her in the corner of my eye. She looked so lonely, so I decided to watch. I debated, each night, on whether or not to talk to her. By rules of the ninjas, I couldn't come in contact with some sorcerer unless it was a matter in which both groups were needed. However, she looked my age and I couldn't help but wonder if we could become friends.

Tonight I saw the wind coming, seconds before she stood. Without thinking, I had helped her; saved her life. I had lingered too long and now she knew a ninja had saved her. I had just endangered what little fragile goodness the sorcerers and ninjas had between them. No doubt the sorcerers would be told about the incident. And no doubt they would come to the ninjas to discover whom had saved the girl. The ninjas would say nobody would do such a thing and an all out war would start over the smallest of things. Unless, of course, I turned myself in...
