Carly's POV
Oh. My. God! Maggie finally told me what's happening! Not only that, but I get to help! I can't wait to work with sorcerers. It's always been a dream of mine despite our hatred for one another.
I stuffed my spy outfit and some weapons into a backpack, then headed out, leaving my mom a note on the counter. I walked across town until I reached the sorcerer part of the city. With a deep breath, I stepped across the invisible boundary line and headed for the street Maggie told me to meet her at.
Julia's POV
I woke up to the shuffling of feet. Sitting up, I saw the first rays of sun peeking over a hill from Seth's window. Standing up, I saw Maggie stepping carefully towards the door.
"Where're you going?" I whispered.
"Meeting my friend outside. Told her I'd meet her on the street at dawn."
"I'll come with you." I said, throwing a jacket on over my clothes.
The two of us tip-toed downstairs as quietly as possible and snuck out the door. The last thing we need is to wake up Damien.
The sky was alive with shades of pink, orange, and red as the sun slowly crawled it's way upward. A little ways up the street I saw a girl leaning against a stop sign.
"Hey!" She shouted, and waved at us.
"Shhh! You don't want to wake up the whole neighborhood!" Maggie scolded.
"Haha sorry. I'm Carly."
"I'm Julia." I said, shaking her hand.
"So I hear we're working with some sorcerers and sorceresses." She said, her eyes twinkling with delight.
"Yeah." Maggie said. "Julia's one of them."
"Oh cool! I've always secretly wanted to work with you guys. Magic is awesome!"
"Thanks."
"Well we should get back to the house and get everyone else up before Damien wakes." Maggie said.
"Who's Damien?" Carly asked.
"We'll explain on the way back."

Time Skip to back at the House

Maggie and I filled Carly in on all the crazy events that have happened these last few weeks. The conversation ended with Carly chasing Maggie around like a lunatic because Maggie didn't tell her sooner... Something like that anyway.
By the time we were back, everyone was up and Seth had put together some breakfast for us. While we ate, Seth and Sammy explained the plan to Carly.
"Ok, are we all ready?" Seth asked.
We all nodded.
"Then let's go!" He said.
"LETS KICK SOME DEMONIC BUTT!" Maggie yelled.
"YEAH!" Carly yelled back.
"SHHHHHHH!" Everyone else hissed.
"Sorry..." Carly and Maggie whispered.
"Move out!" Seth ordered.
Our rescue mission had begun.
