Rome's POV

"How much farther?" I complained.

"Oh shut up. You aren't the one carrying double your weight!" Chris hissed.

He was flying me across the country. Chris's grey wings were outstretched and flapping in the wind. A little ways below him, was me.

We had decided flying would be the fastest way to travel, even with frequent breaks for Chris to rest. We had fastened a hammock like structure and tied it around Chris's waist. I sat in it and he carried me. I have to give him credit because that's as uncomfortable as hell. And he'd practically been to Hell so he would know.

After traveling for about two more hours the sun began to set and cast a light show of reds, oranges, and pinks across the darkening sky.

"Let's find somewhere to sleep tonight." Chris said. "Tomorrow we should be able to make it all the way to get you home." He said.

I smiled, thinking that in about 24 hours I'd be reunited with my family.

Angélie's POV

I woke up in my own bed, sun streaming through my window. I rubbed my groggy eyes and sat up. That's when I noticed the chains around my wrists and ankles, tying me to my own bed.

"DAMIEN!" I shrieked.

But that's not who opened the door. It was Seth, followed by two guards.

"Seth what the hell is going on?" I demanded.

"Damien didn't want us getting into any more trouble so he trapped us here. These goons are keeping an eye on us." He said, pointing at one of the guards behind him. "Damien knew you wouldn't stand for this so that's why you're chained to your own bed."

I groaned and flopped my head back on to my pillow. Damien was right; I was SO not standing for this. Then I shot up like a bullet as I remembered something: Clary.

"Seth where's Clary!?" I said urgently, sitting up again.

"About that... Damien's looking for her. We'll find her Angélie." He promised.

I let out a sad moan. Already my child had gone missing twice in a day.

"What happened to the others?" I asked next.

"Well..." Seth began.

Maggie's POV

"This is so not fair!" I complained.

"They can't just send us home after all we've been through!" Julia exclaimed.

"God Damien's such a jerk!" Tara said, kicking a nearby trash can.

Julia, Tara, Carly, and I were sitting on the edge of the fountain in the center of town.

"Let's not forget Marcus." Carly added. "He actually AGREED with Damien."

Marcus is the leader of the Ninjas. I haven't heard much of him or seen him much but I already know I don't like him.

"I hope they know we won't stand for this..." Julia said, a small smirk forming on her lips.

"No. No we won't." Tara added.

"Well what's the plan then girls?" I asked.

"Oh don't worry about that." Julia said. "Just let the plan come to us."

Seth's POV

I was sitting on my bed with my legs crossed and one hand under my pillow. Luckily, Julia and I had made a backup plan in case something like this were to happen.

"Guard!" I called.

One of the two guards from earlier opened the door.

"Yes?" He asked.

"You're going to let me and my sister go. Now." I ordered.

"Now why would I do that?" he said with a smirk.

I whipped my hand out from under my pillow, revealing a dart gun. I evened it with the guard's chest.

"These darts are dipped in a special serum that will rid you of your powers and make you human. One shot of this and there will be nothing you can do to stop me. So what do you say? You going to let me go now?"

A/N

Hi guys! I just wanted to let you know, some of you may have read this chapter already from when I uploaded it last night. However, when I went to get started on writing another chapter tonight I noticed for some reason only the part that's in Rome's point of view got uploaded. Anyone else who writes can probably imagine how annoyed I was to find that all that hard work was gone. Anyway, I retyped everything tonight and now we're good to go. Hope you liked the chapter and keep reading Peeps!
