Sammy/Lilith's POV
Nows my chance. I have to do it now or risk never getting my hands on Clary.
Without any second thoughts, I summoned my shadow magic and created a cage around Julia, Carly, and Tara.
"WHAT THE HELL SAMMY!" Tara shrieked.
"YOU LIAR! YOU'RE NOT HUMAN! WHAT THE FUDGE ARE YOU!?" Julia yelled.
Ignoring them, I set up a rocket-like shadow and it burst in mid air. On cue, Azrael appeared besides me.
"What did you do with you know who?" I asked.
"Don't worry. He's taken care of." Azrael replied with a smirk.
"Let's do what we came here to do." I ordered. "And girls, so sorry but I always have to get my way. I think I might do away with Maggie..." I added as an after thought.
"YOU FUDGING TOUCH HER AND YOU FUDGING DIE!" Tara, Carly, and Julia chorused.
I just smirked and then Azrael and I made our way into the mansion.
Rome's POV
I gasped for breath as my eyes flickered open, but instead of air, I got water. Spluttering in panic, I snapped my mouth shut. Seeing light above me, I swam frantically towards it.
My head broke the surface just as my lungs gave out. Gasping for breath, I laid on the rocky ground and examined my surroundings. I was in an underground cave of sorts. A lantern was hanging from the roof and a small cot and fire pit were besides the cave wall. A small tunnel, probably the way out or a way deeper into the cave, was across from the pool of water.
Pulling myself up, I walked over to the tent and found an unopened bottle of water. Drinking heavily, I pulled the blanket off the bed to dry off. Someone must've come down here before. But why? And why did they leave all of this stuff?
Grabbing a flashlight that had been sitting in the tent, I started to make my way down the tunnel. Even with the little beam of light, the darkness swirled around me like ink and I could hardly see a thing.
I walked for what felt like hours until finally the darkness began to diminish. A small light shined up ahead and I raced towards it, only to be stopped by the sight before me. Angels; messy, sick, tired, angels.
"Hello." A man walked up to me. "Welcome to Angel prison." He said.
