Chapter 32 - Angel Prison

Rome's POV

"My name's Christopher." The man said, shaking my hand. "But call me Chris."

"I'm Rome." I replied.

"Nice to meet ya Rome; welcome to an Angel's hell." He said.

"Why are you all here?"

"Same as you! Caught by those sons of b*tches known as demons." Chris growled. "Why you here?"

"Ever heard of a demon named Azrael?"

"Yeah I've heard of that jerk alright."

"He possessed me. I don't really know how I ended up down here. I don't remember."

"Boy you're human, ain't ya?"

"Yeah, why?"

"Demons can only possess humans. But what the hell would a demon want with you?"

"Not with me, but my girlfriend. She's an angel, but I didn't find out until recently."

"Ah Angélie... Bless her soul and her cleverness. That girl's a piece of work she is. Every dang angel on Earth has gotten captured; not her."

"If you help me out of here, I can bring her here to free you all."

"I don't think we'll be much help to ya. There's a spell block on this cave. We can't use our powers to get out, let alone get you out."

"You may not need to use your powers. One of you could, I guess, possess me?"

"Kid you don't want to make that a habit."

"Yeah, but how else do you propose we get out of here?"

"You've got a point." He mumbled. "Everyone! Meet Rome! He's a human who knows Angélie and has agreed to be my passenger. Together we will get out of here and bring Angélie to help us."

The crowd of angels cheered and clapped.

"This is going to feel a little weird." Chris warned.

Then he placed two fingers on my forehead and disappeared.

I felt like my organs were being squished all to one side and gasped.

"I'm going to take over now." Chris whispered in my head.

"Ok. Just don't let me drown when you swim back through the water."

"You got it kid."

"And don't call me kid. I am 21 you know."

"You wanna drown?"

"No."

"Then I'm gonna call you kid if I want to."

"Fine."

"Let's get out of here kid!"
