Azrael's POV
With Angélie asleep in my room, I made my way to the lab to mix the blood with some of the other ingredients. Just some sugar, spice, and everything destructive.
A Nephillim child made to be a demon's servant, the world wouldn't last long. All the angels would be exterminated in no time and the Shadows would be set free from Hell.
Tara's POV
"So we all know Damien is going to screw this up." Seth stated.
All of us sorcerers nodded our heads. Maggie and Sammy just shrugged.
"Well he will. Damien has never been great with these situations unless Angélie was there to help."
"Are you serious? That's always been Angélie?" I asked.
"For the most part."
"Oh wow." Julia said.
"Yup." Seth said, smacking his lips together on the p for a popping sound.
"He may seem calm on the outside but he's not great in battle situations."
"Well what's our plan then?" Sammy asked.
"I was thinking we sneak out. Tonight. Together, we should be able to help Angélie. With her on our side, we should be able to take down Azrael." Julia suggested.
"Sounds good, but how do we find them? There's no way Azrael will stay in the same place." Sammy pointed out.
"Tracking spell?" I asked.
"Or I could send out a spy." Maggie suggested.
"A spy? You have spies too!?" Sammy yelled. "Uhh why can't I have anything cool!"
Everyone giggled and she joined in.
"Yeah one of the many ninja ranks is a spy. Those go to the super sneaky ninjas. I have a friend who's one and she won't pass this up. Trust me."
We all looked at one another. Then Seth spoke up.
"Ok. We'll need all the help we can get."
"Awesome! I'll call her now." And Maggie left the room.
"So a spy will find them for us, but then what? We can't just bust in!" Sammy said.
"I figured Maggie and her spy could help us. After all, they're the sneaky ones." Julia pointed out.
"True." I said. "But we also have magic on our side. Three sorcerers will be a big help."
"But what about Sammy? What can she do?" Seth asked.
"I'm actually more capable than you think." Sammy said with a wink.
She jumped up from her spot on Seth's bed and did a few flips, punches, and kicks.
"I may not be a ninja, but I know some skills."
Her statement was followed by some clapping and we all turned to see Maggie standing in the doorway.
"That was great Sammy!"
"Coming from a ninja that means a lot." Julia pointed out.
"Thanks guys." Sammy said.
"Shh! I hear Damien coming! Everyone pretend to be asleep!" Seth hissed.
Everyone dropped down on the floor or Seth's bed and faked sleep. We heard a door close and footsteps walk away from the room. Before we knew it, soft snoring filled the room for real.
