A/N

Hello everyone! Just wanted to, on her behalf, let you know my cousin has created a WattPad account and she would appreciate it if you'd check her out. She's begun her first story and is a wonderful writer. Her username is @Girl_of_Silver

Secondly, I have decided to in-put chapter titles woo! Hopefully this will make it easier for you to navigate my story now. I didn't do them originally because I didn't think I'd be able to come up with good names but I'm handling it fine in The Cipher Medallion so why not do them here to!

Lastly, (and extremely important) I wanted to apologize for this chapter being so late. For those of you that are actually completely up to date with me (which is only a few of you and that's totally fine) you may have noticed that there has not been a new chapter on this story in quite a while. That's because I have, I suppose, a kind of writer's block. I know what I want to have happen in the story but I just don't know how to write it out. I've had to rewrite this chapter several times to get it to my liking. Again, I'm sorry for keeping you waiting like this and I'll try my best to get my ideas out and into chapters much faster. Anyway, that's all for now. Enjoy Mitchell's first POV time and keep reading Peeps!

Azrael's POV

"Lilith..." I hissed, nudging her elbow.

She looked at me and I motioned to her right. Two figures were coming at us quite fast.

"Is that..." I began.

"I do believe so." Lilith finished.

Clary and Mitchell were coming straight to us. This was going to be fun.

Mitchell's POV

As Clary and I got closer and closer to Azrael and Lilith, the burning hatred towards them began to fuel me even more. The rage was like the match that lit my flame, making it grow bigger and bigger until everything is a raging blaze. All the horrid things I had endeared in Hell: that's what they were going to pay for. My father cared more about them and their mission to conquer the humans and angels than his own son.

"Mitch, are we really going to go through with this?" Clary called above the wind.

I nodded.

"We have to. No holding back. Deal?"

"Deal." She agreed.

We took each others' hands and with a burst of speed, flew straight at the two demons. The last thing I saw was the looks of complete triumphant on Azrael and Lilith's faces.

Seth's POV

"Wait, so whatever is up there is, one, not alone, and two, the most powerful thing on the planet? Even stronger than Clary?" I questioned.

Angélie looked at me with a sad smile.

"To be honest," she began, "I don't know. It's been hundreds of years since the last Nephillim, and thousands since the last royal demon with Phoenix powers. We angels know Nephillim are extremely powerful, more powerful than any angel or demon, but since we've never been able to compare a Nephillim to a Phoenix royal..."

"We wouldn't know." Chris finished.

"Wow..." Rome murmured. "That's some highly powerful stuff right there."

"Yeah... And I thought the rage between ninjas and sorcerers was powerful." Julia said, earning a snicker from Tara.

"Oh you have no idea." Chris told her.

Suddenly there was a crack that shook the entire city. Everything seemed to stop all at once: sirens died, screams no longer dashed through the city streets, even the helicopters up above barely seemed to make a sound. All our heads shot up to the giant black cloud that had suddenly flashed a brilliant white. It began to shrink, smaller and smaller, until it suddenly pushed outward with such force and speed; then it exploded with a great boom.
