It seems as if Megan and I have all the same classes. When I say, all, I really mean all but one.
"Science is right here. I will meet you at the water fountain by the Trig room. Kay?" Megan says.
I nod, not worrying.
"Bye," I tell her, waking into the room.
I'm surprised to see all but three seats filled. Two are the other side of the room, the other one is right in front of me. I slide into the seat and set down my bag just as the bell rings.
"Whoa," I hear a deep voice say.
Something about the voice makes my breath get caught in my throat.
I turn around to see one of the guys that I saw this morning. His brown hair covers his forehead, his eyes sparkle in the light coming from the big window.
"Umm, hey," I say, realizing it has been a minute and I haven't said anything.
"Do you know who I am?" He asks, his voice commanding.
The teacher starts talking, but I don't pay attention.
"No."
"I'm Kyle Carlson, and I don't like new people," he spits.
I roll my eyes.
I have met so many stupid bastards like Kyle. I'm used to this.
"Well, I'm not like any normal new girl," I flirt, leaning toward him, my shirt sliding down, giving him a clear shot of my cleavage.
With guys like Kyle, you have to give them what they want and then play them like a game of scrabble.
His brown green eyes flicker to my chests, and then he smirks.
"I don't think you told me your name."
"Hailey, Hailey Jordan," I say, flipping my hair.
"Well, hey Hailey," he says, just as the teacher coughs.
I look up, my cheeks slightly blushing as everyone turns around to look at us.
"Miss Jordan, I know it is your first day, so please pay attention," he says. I nod, trying to stay quiet.
Kyle smirks at me when the teacher starts talking again like nothing happened.
"Your partners are the person you are sitting next to. You are only working on this project outside of class, it is due in three weeks."
Just then the bell rings as I groan.
I'm with him.
Okay, maybe he won't be bad. I just know if I get too close to him, I won't last here very long.
I feel someone hand on my waist as I walk out of the doorway. I turn to see Kyle.
"What?" I snap.
"Come with me," he says, grabbing my hand, his skin soft.
He leads me down to an empty hallway.
"What do you want?" I ask, before he pushes me against the wall.
"You interest me Hailey" he says, his mouth less than three inches away from mine. I smile.
"And why is that?" I ask, a sly smirk on my lips. I didn't have to do much to get him interested then.
"I haven't found out yet."
Just then, he leans in and crashes his lips into mine. His hands on my waist, my arms slide around his neck, holding him down to me.
I slowly pull away, but he kisses me again. Then, he slides his lips down to my neck and the back up to my mouth.
At last, he pulls away and smiles.
"See you later, Hailey," he tells me walking off.
What the hell did I get myself into?
